The production of BeV potential wells
Production of billion electron volt potential wells by cloud of electrons suspended in magnetic fiel
The CWKB Method of Particle Production in Periodic Potential
In this work we study the particle production in time dependent periodic
potential using the method of complex time WKB (CWKB) approximation. In the
inflationary cosmology at the end of inflationary stage, the potential becomes
time dependent as well as periodic. Reheating occurs due to particle production
by the oscillating inflaton field. Using CWKB we obtain almost identical
results on catastrophic particle production as obtained by others.Comment: 17 pages, latex, 2 figure
Superheavy element production, nucleus-nucleus potential and mu-catalysis
The semi-microscopic potential between heavy nuclei is evaluated for various
colliding ions in the approach of frozen densities in the framework of the
extended Thomas-Fermi approximation with hbar^2 correction terms in the kinetic
energy density functional. The proton and neutron densities of each nucleus are
obtained in the Hartree-Fock-BCS approximation with SkM* parameter set of the
Skyrme force. A simple expression for the nuclear interaction potential between
spherical nuclei is presented. It is shown that muon bound with light
projectile induces the superheavy elements production in nucleus-nucleus
collisions.Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures, RevTex, Tours 5 Symposium on Nuclear Physics,

Straw biomass - potential raw material for ethanol production
Barley straw was found to be suitable raw material for ethanol production. Straw could be easily pre-treated with steam explosion, hydrolysed to monosaccharides and fermented to ethanol. The optimum harvesting times for bio-ethanol raw material are at grain maturity for barley straw. Potential raw material, barley harvested at full ear emergence, when straw is rich in soluble sugars, need further research
Electron-positron pair production in the Aharonov-Bohm potential
In the framework of QED we evaluate the cross section for electron-positron
pair production by a single photon in the presence of the external
Aharonov-Bohm potential in first order of perturbation theory. We analyse
energy, angular and polarization distributions at different energy regimes:
near the threshold and at high photon energies.Comment: LaTeX file, 13 page
Visions for organic bioenergy production in Denmark
There is a large potential for organic bioenergy production, which can be combined with the present food production and the provision of multiple other goods and services required by society; i.e. a cleaner aquatic environment, or nature values in cultural landscapes. This paper presents six scenarios for bioenergy production from organic farming in Denmark, with a total energy production potential of around 6.7 PJ/yr. This potential is compared to the present energy use of around 2.5 PJ/yr, and the po-tentials for energy savings equalling 0.1-0.5 PJ/yr
Production, breeding and potential of cowpea crop in Brazil.
About 50 years ago cowpea was reported as a relatively minor tropical legume. However, in the last years, it has been emerging as one of the most important food legume of the 21st century (SINGH, 2010). Brazil is not out of this panorama. Brazilian agriculture is undergoing major technological changes and, in addition, globalization in agribusiness has caused impacts on the production chain of several crops, particularly those heavily dependent on the use of a large volume of agricultural inputs, mainly fertilizers and pesticides. Such crops have had a higher production cost each year. On the other hand, this situation has brought new opportunities. Business farmers have sought new alternatives for their production arrangements. In this context cowpea constitutes one of the best options.bitstream/item/85620/1/Doc-216-Production.pd
