    A importância da literatura infantil afro-brasileira e africana no ensino fundamental do SESC - Petrolina/PE

    This article aims to analyze the use and the repercussions that occurred with the children's literature Afro-Brazilian and African elementary education of SESC-Petrolina. It was used as the theoretical authors and documents as Brazil (2003), Coelho (2002), Jovino (2006) among others. As methodological resources, documentary analysis took place (the acquis of the SESC), observation of classrooms from 1st to 5th year of elementary school and questionnaires applied through the pedagogical coordinator, librarian and teachers of their respective classes. Found a small, but representative writings about qualitative thematic Afro-Brazilian and African noting that, despite the fact that teachers have the knowledge about the legislation and the theme, the actions taken are not systematized. It is believed in the importance of children's literature and other didactic instruments in promoting and recoverability of a portion of the population historically excluded. As a democratic education, with new paradigms of education valuing the culture diversity and ensuring compliance with the Afro-Brazilian and African culture

    This paper is a study of the novel Se um viajante numa noite de inverno (1979). This work was originally published in Italy in 1979 by Italo Calvino. Our study is based in the light of the theoretical framework proposed by the semiotician Umberto Eco, especially from his work Interpretation and Overinterpretation (2001). Assuming that the narrative construction of the reffered 'hyper-novel' of Calvin, we can be approximated to the theory advocated by Eco, the main point of contact between these seemingly distinct authors is in fact that both dedicated themselves to think, incisively the question of the interpretation of literary texts. Thus, the process of the making of the groundbreaking novel Calvin was attractive for further study of the work from a critical analysis and interpretation of the interpretation of the work of these prominent authors. Through the contrast of these books is noticed, especially in the work of Calvin that his main objective was to conduct a review of literature itself. Nevertheless, the comparative analysis of the works exemplified through their styles as different from one another , disruption suffered by calviniana scripture , so that Calvin himself breaks the paradigm of traditional perspective of reading as Eco suggests rethinking the understanding of literary texts going beyond appearance

    This paper intends to characterize and contextualize the teaching of Portuguese Language and Literature under the influence of post-modernity. After a concise review of the literature about the subject, we verify that to analyze the needs brought by the current time becomes more important than responding if we really live in a postmodern world. About the teaching of Portuguese language, we indicate that the “model” used during the last two decades – with emphasis on teaching grammar – has been criticized and viewed as inefficient because it misses the basic skills of reading and writing of the students. The Literature of contemporaneity suffered a kind of massification. Therefore, we realized the need for teacher training policies related to the contemporary needs

    Material literário em aulas de E/LE: reflexões e perspectivas

    Considering a few discussions during our study on the importance that the literary text (LT) has for language teaching and learning, we propose to introduce some reflections and perspectives that the literary material receives in classroom, especially in Spanish language classes, in basic education, college teaching or languages courses. In order to do that, we based our research on authors such as Tenorio and Reusával (1992), Mendoza Fillola (2002, 2007), Albadejo (2007), Jouin, K (2008) and Santos (2007), among others. Along the text, as we delineate the reflections and identify the perspectives that the LT brings to teaching, we also provide some suggestions for the use of this tex t for Spanish teaching classes

    Ensino de literatura brasileira: investigando concepções de professores da rede estadual de Pernambuco sobre orientações e documentos curriculares oficiais

    There are about of 40 years, the linguistic studies passed to conceive the language as social interaction. This implied modifications in the teaching of language and literature, leading to questioning of the rigid division historically operated between them (CHIAPPINNI, 2005). Furthermore, the literature has been seen as powerful instrument of human formation, esthetic fruition and understanding of human, which justifies its insertion in the curriculum (CANDIDO, 2012). In Pernambuco, the teachers of public network have of an official curriculum proposal (Common Curriculum Base - BCC), that contains concepts and orientations to the teaching practice, without prejudice of the school autonomy. Beyond her, there are the OTM (Theoretical – methodological Orientations), with suggestions of activities and appropriates procedures to concepts had in the Base. Like these documents serve of main reference to elaboration of the school curricula, we objectify, according with Cosson (2006) and Ferreira (2007), to investigate the positioning of teachers of Statewide Network of PE about to BCC and to OTM, wherein respect to the teaching of literature. Thereunto, we realize semi structured interviews with 2 teachers of a reference school and 1 of a conventional school. The analysis of the data indicated that the respondents have guideline of the curricula proposal, judge them relevant and highlights the necessity of a formation that provides specific methodological suggestions for teaching literature. Against addition, we judge necessary a continuing formation that provides subsidies to teaching practice and we highlight the relevancy to establish a greater dialogue between schools and universities, in order to we measure, (re)create the thought and lived curriculum

    RESUMO: O trabalho tem como objetivo discutir as medidas implementadas pelo Estado brasileiro, com ênfase nas intervenções realizadas na Microrregião de Pau dos Ferros, cotejando-as com os dados do Setor Agropecuário e as estratégias adotadas de combate e de convivência com a seca. Para a consecução da pesquisa foi realizado levantamento de dados nas bases do IBGE e pesquisa de campo. Constatou-se: 1) a perda da representatividade demográfica e econômica das áreas rurais na composição estrutural dos municípios da Microrregião; 2) as medidas de combate à seca contribuíram para mitigação dos problemas de escassez hídrica, mas não solucionaram o problema; 3) as soluções paliativas (e caras) como a construção da Adutora de Engate Rápido para atendimento, parcial, da demanda por água em Pau dos Ferros/RN depõe contra a ideia de que o planejamento foi bem realizado; 4) outros exemplos da precariedade do planejamento foram as perfurações de poços sem a realização de estudos técnicos e a ausência de controle por parte do Poder Público das perfurações realizadas pelos cidadãos e empresas. ABSTRACT: The objective of this work is to discuss the measures implemented by the Brazilian State, with emphasis on the interventions carried out in the Microregion of Pau dos Ferros, comparing them with data from the Agricultural Sector and the strategies adopted to combat and cope with the drought. To carry out the research, data were collected from the IBGE databases and field research was carried out. It was found: 1) the loss of demographic and economic representation of rural areas in the structural composition of municipalities in the Microregion; 2) measures to combat drought contributed to mitigating the problems of water scarcity, but did not solve the problem; 3) palliative (and expensive) solutions, such as the construction of the Quick Coupling Pipeline to partially meet the demand for water in Pau dos Ferros/RN, argues against the idea that planning is well carried out; 4) other examples of precarious planning were the drilling of wells without carrying out technical studies and the lack of control by the Public Power over the drilling carried out by citizens and companies.
