Local limits of uniform triangulations in high genus

We prove a conjecture of Benjamini and Curien stating that the local limits of uniform random triangulations whose genus is proportional to the number of faces are the Planar Stochastic Hyperbolic Triangulations (PSHT) defined in arXiv:1401.3297. The proof relies on a combinatorial argument and the Goulden--Jackson recurrence relation to obtain tightness, and probabilistic arguments showing the uniqueness of the limit. As a consequence, we obtain asymptotics up to subexponential factors on the number of triangulations when both the size and the genus go to infinity. As a part of our proof, we also obtain the following result of independent interest: if a random triangulation of the plane $T$ is weakly Markovian in the sense that the probability to observe a finite triangulation $t$ around the root only depends on the perimeter and volume of $t$, then $T$ is a mixture of PSHT.Comment: 36 pages, 10 figure

Pengembangan Model Latihan Pencak Silat Jurus Regu Baku di Ekstrakurikuler Psht Cabang Blitar

This study aimed at developing a model of training for standard grouped style of martial arts in PSHT branch Blitar for extracurricular activity. The developed model was expected to vary the existed models and to help students master the standard group style. The quantitative and qualitative data analyses were employed in percentage. The result of the small group tryout was 86% and of the big group was 87%. The developed model of training for standard grouped style of martial arts could become one of the alternatives for martial arts training

Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Karakter Peduli Sosial di Perguruan Silat (Studi pada Siswa Perguruan Silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate Ranting Purwantoro Cabang Ponorogo)

Dewasa ini, banyak orang karakternya masih lemah. Setiap orang haruslah memiliki karakter yang kuat, karena karakter penting bagi seseorang, salah satunya karakter peduli sosial. PSHT sebagai organisasi pencak silat ikut serta dalam penanaman atau pendidikan karakter tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial di perguruan silat (studi pada siswa perguruan silat PSHT ranting Purwantoro cabang Ponorogo). Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data dengan menerapkan model interaktif melalui pengmpulan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini dengan cara triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Bentuk-bentuk pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial pada Siswa yaitu: Siswa berperilaku dengan sopan santun apabila berinteraksi dengan orang lain, siswa mau mendengarkan apabila diberi nasehat oleh orang lain, siswa toleran terhadap perbedaan dengan kelompok organisasi lain, siswa mau berbagi dengan orang lain dengan membagikan takjil, dan siswa mau terlibat dalam kegiatan masyarakat dengan kerja bakti dll; 2) Kendala pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial pada Siswa yaitu: Rendahnya sopan santun para siswa PSHT ranting Purwantoro dikarenakan sifat dasar (kurang baik) yang dimiliki oleh para siswa, sikap rendahnya toleransi atas perbedaan sehingga terjadi konflik dengan organisasi pencak silat lain yang disebabkan banyaknya siswa sehingga tidak mampu mengontrol dan mengawasi secara penuh dan karena masalah pribadi walaupun diakui jarang terjadi, sikap tidak mau mendengarkan orang lain dikarenakan siswa memiliki sifat egois yang masih tinggi, tidak melaksanakannya sikap mau berbagi dengan membagikan takjil kepada pengguna jalan secara keseluruhan oleh siswa PSHT ranting Purwantoro dan hanya dilakukan oleh rayon Purwantoro karena kurangnya komunikasi, kurang ikut sertanya siswa dalam kegiatan masyarakat disebabkan karena ada siswa yang memiliki sifat individual yang masih tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah siswa PSHT ranting Purwantoro telah melaksanakan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial

Downlink Small-cell Base Station Cooperation Strategy in Fractal Small-cell Networks

Coordinated multipoint (CoMP) communications are considered for the fifth-generation (5G) small-cell networks as a tool to improve the high data rates and the cell-edge throughput. The average achievable rates of the small-cell base stations (SBS) cooperation strategies with distance and received signal power constraints are respectively derived for the fractal small-cell networks based on the anisotropic path loss model. Simulation results are presented to show that the average achievable rate with the received signal power constraint is larger than the rate with a distance constraint considering the same number of cooperative SBSs. The average achievable rate with distance constraint decreases with the increase of the intensity of SBSs when the anisotropic path loss model is considered. What's more, the network energy efficiency of fractal smallcell networks adopting the SBS cooperation strategy with the received signal power constraint is analyzed. The network energy efficiency decreases with the increase of the intensity of SBSs which indicates a challenge on the deployment design for fractal small-cell networks.Comment: 5 figures. Cyclotron Dynamics of a Kondo Singlet in a Spin-Orbit-Coupled Alkaline-Earth Atomic Gas

We propose a scheme to investigate the interplay between Kondo-exchange interaction and quantum spin Hall effect with ultracold fermionic alkaline-earth atoms trapped in two-dimensional optical lattices using ultracold collision and laser-assisted tunneling. In the strong Kondo-coupling regime, though the loop trajectory of the mobile atom disappears, collective dynamics of an atom pair in two clock states can exhibit an unexpected spin-dependent cyclotron orbit in a plaquette, realizing the quantum spin Hall effect of the Kondo singlet. We demonstrate that the collective cyclotron dynamics of the spin-zero Kondo singlet is governed by an effective Harper-Hofstadter model in addition to second-order diagonal tunneling

Multivariate analysis of morphological variation in enset (Ensete ventricosum (Welw.) Cheesman) reveals regional and clinal variation in germplasm from south and south western Ethiopia

Enset (Ensete ventricosum (Welw.) Cheesman) is cultivated by millions of people across Ethiopia in diverse agro-ecological and cultural settings, selecting for various agronomic traits. However, as for other underutilized crops, our understanding of the diversity and utilization of enset remains limited. This work sought to redress this limitation by estimating morphological diversity among enset accessions collected from major enset growing regions, including across altitudinal gradients. In total, landraces comprising 387 accessions originating from nine regions of Ethiopia were characterized using multivariate analysis of 15 quantitative traits. Cluster analysis grouped accessions in to five distinct classes with maximum number of accessions 338 in cluster (I) and minimum 1 in cluster (V). The clustering of accessions did not show grouping on the basis of region of origin. The first four principal components accounted for ~74% of the total variance. Linear discriminant analysis indicated that around 40.8% (160 accessions) and 45.2% (175 accession) of the studied accessions were correctly classified to their respective regions of origin altitude groups, respectively. The breadth of phenotypic differences in these 15 traits suggests significant degrees of genetic variation. These traits will be exploited to identify potential donors for future enset improvement efforts

PSHT Logo as Manifestation of Pancasila Ideological Values

This study aims to analyze and describe meanings on the symbols embodied in the martial arts logo school of Setia Hati Terate Brotherhood (PSHT) and its representation towards the ideological values of Pancasila. The study is based on the Ethnosemiotical approach. This analytical method on the cultural texts connects the understanding of reading the symbolic expressions represented in the PSHT logo. The results conclude that the symbolic entities on PSHT logo imply a concordance on the values between the Peircean semiotic perspectives in the form of the organizational principles confirming the ideological state of Pancasila. The result showed that on the symbol of lotus flower buds, half-bloom and bloom refers to the philosophical meaning of ‘having stability and confidence in social skills, therefore, they don't feel awkward and feeling inferior' it would seem difficult to find the meaning of connotation and denotation and thus requires further clarification from the public who involve in the Organizations of PSHT. Identification of such symbols indicating the active-enterprising which motivate the instillation on the values of Pancasila, uniting , maintain and strengthening the unity of the nation, the moving spirit of the nation in undertaking the national development and solving the arising problems in the life of the nation
