An Explicit Formula for the Matrix Logarithm
We present an explicit polynomial formula for evaluating the principal
logarithm of all matrices lying on the line segment
joining the identity matrix (at ) to any real matrix (at )
having no eigenvalues on the closed negative real axis. This extends to the
matrix logarithm the well known Putzer's method for evaluating the matrix

LAPORAN INDIVIDU KEGIATAN PRAKTEK PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN LOKASI LEMBAGA PENJAMINAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA
Program PPL (Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan) merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam rangka Praktik tentang keilmuan kepada masyarakat/lembaga. Kegiatan yang termasuk lingkup PPL diarahkan ke implementasi bidang studi yang juga berkaitan dengan dunia kependidikan.
Lokasi kegiatan PPL yaitu di Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang terletak di Tirtomartani Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta yang memiliki lahan yang cukup luas namun dalam situasi sedang dibangun gedung baru sebagai pembaharuan bangunan lama. PPL dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 2 Juli sampai dengan 17 September 2014 yang diawali dengan koordinasi, observasi ke lokasi, analisis situasi dan kebutuhan, serta identifikasi permasalahan yang dapat diselesaikan oleh teknolog pendidikan. Berdasarkan beberapa hal diatas, maka diagendakan beberapa program, dan disusunlah proposal kegiatan PPL.
Berbagai program kegiatan PPL yang telah direncanakan meliputi Program PPL kelompok dan PPL individu. Kenyataanya berbagai program tersebut tidak dapat terlaksana dengan baik, namun secara tidak langsung kami juga memperoleh pemahaman tentang proses bekerja di lingkungan pemerintahan, memperoleh pengalaman tentang cara berfikir dan bekerja secara interdisipliner sehingga dapat memahami adanya keterkaitan ilmu dalam mengatasi permasalahan teknis maupun non teknis yang ada di LPMP DIY, memperoleh pengalaman dan ketrampilan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran Kepelatihan, Pengelolaan Kelas, Pengelolaan Data Diklat, dan implementasi pembelajaran lain dalam suatu lembaga
Microcontroller-Based Seat Occupancy Detection and Classification
This paper presents a microcontroller-based measurement system to detect and confirm the presence of a subject in a chair. The system relies on a single Force Sensing Resistor (FSR), which may be arranged in the seat or backrest of the chair, that undergoes a sudden resistance change when a subject/object is seated/placed over the chair. In order to distinguish between a subject and an inanimate object, the system also monitors small-signal variations of the FSR resistance caused by respiration. These resistance variations are then directly measured by a low-cost general-purpose microcontroller without using either an analogue processing stage or an analogue-to-digital converter, thus resulting in a low-cost, low-power, compact design solution.Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version
From topological to parametrized field theory
It has been proposed to study the theory resulting from setting the
gravitational constant to zero in the first order formalism for general
relativity. In this letter we investigate this theory in the presence of matter
fields, establish its equivalence with parametrized field theory on a flat
background, and relate it to previous results in topological field theory (BF

Structural Derivative Model for Tissue Radiation Response
By means of a recently-proposed metric or structural derivative, called
scale-q-derivative approach, we formulate differential equation that models the
cell death by a radiation exposure in tumor treatments. The considered
independent variable here is the absorbed radiation dose D instead of usual
time. The survival factor, Fs, for radiation damaged cell obtained here is in
agreement with the literature on the maximum entropy principle, as it was
recently shown and also exhibits an excellent agreement with the experimental
data. Moreover, the well-known linear and quadratic models are obtained. With
this approach, we give a step forward and suggest other expressions for
survival factors that are dependent on the complex tumor structure.Comment: 6 pages, 2 collumn
