    Equitable distribution of electricity needs a framework of PT. PLN (Persero) Manado region in an effort to improve the quality of customer service. To improve the service developed a WEB based information system that supports the activities of PT. PLN. Information systems processing and customer service PT. WEB-based PLN was built to serve the customers and the general public in terms of obtaining information, applying for the installation of electrical, power changes and other information. Its use is intended for the public, especially our customers to communicate with PLN Region Manado. System development process begins with the stage of analysis then perform design, including process design and database design. The design process is done by using the Use Case Diagram. From the use case then transformed into the program modules for implementation. While the database design was done by the method of modeling an Entity Relationship Diagram (ER-Diagram). Implementation of this information system development using Dreamweaver MX, PHP as the interface system and uses MySQL as its database. Web server used is Apache and the browser using Mozilla Firefox for Web applications

    Altered excitation-contraction coupling in human chronic atrial fibrillation

    This review focuses on the (mal)adaptive processes in atrial excitation-contraction coupling occurring in patients with chronic atrial fibrillation. Cellular remodeling includes shortening of the atrial action potential duration and effective refractory period, depressed intracellular Ca<sup>2+</sup> transient, and reduced myocyte contractility. Here we summarize the current knowledge of the ionic bases underlying these changes. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of excitation-contraction-coupling remodeling in the fibrillating human atria is important to identify new potential targets for AF therapy

Introduction: In the Office of Public Relations Branch PLN Manado has a role in disseminating the Electrical Smart so it is important for public relations at the branch office Manado to give a message persuasive and thorough manner, given the increasing development in the city of Manado. In disseminating product PR PLN Manado Branch, should also use a concept often used to convey the message that marketing activities are generally focused on the product, pricing, distribution of policy, and the way in terms of promotion is known as the marketing mix. A good product or service will not be purchased if the consumer does not know the uses, advantages, where products can be obtained and at what price. For that target consumers who need to be given clear information. In this case, the marketing communication activities undertaken focuses on creating awareness to the public in general about the Power Smart and also environmental factors that require people to replace the meter to Power Smart. Methods: This study uses the theory of SOR (Stimulus Organism Response) and AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) with descriptive methods. Results: Shoulder Society expressed a lack of marketing communications role in the socialization of Smart Electricity PT. PLN Cab. Manado with a percentage of 71% are not willing to use the Power Smart. Because of the role of marketing communication itself does not play a role in the socialization of the service due to lack of information on PT. PLN Cab. Manado. Suggestion: It is very important and need to PLN improve information services and overall socialization at Bahu society

    Interval training normalizes cCardiomyocyte function, diastolic Ca<sup>2+</sup> control, and SR Ca<sup>2+</sup> release synchronicity in a mouse model of diabetic cardiomyopathy

    In the present study we explored the mechanisms behind excitation-contraction (EC)-coupling defects in cardiomyocytes from mice with type-2 diabetes (db/db), and determined whether 13-weeks of aerobic interval training could restore cardiomyocyte Ca2+ cycling and EC-coupling. Reduced contractility in cardiomyocytes isolated from sedentary db/db was associated with increased diastolic sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR)-Ca2+ leak, reduced synchrony of Ca2+ release, reduced transverse (T)-tubule density, and lower peak systolic and diastolic Ca2+ and caffeine-induced Ca2+ release. Additionally, the rate of SR Ca2+ ATPase (SERCA2a)-mediated Ca2+ uptake during diastole was reduced, whereas a faster recovery from caffeine-induced Ca2+ release indicated increased Na+/Ca2+- exchanger (NCX) activity. The increased SR-Ca2+ leak was attributed to increased Ca2+-calmodulindependent protein kinase (CaMKII&#948;) phosphorylation, supported by the normalization of SR-Ca2+ leak upon inhibition of CaMKII&#948; (AIP). Exercise training restored contractile function associated with restored SR Ca2+ release synchronicity, T-tubule density, twitch Ca2+ amplitude, SERCA2a and NCX activities, and SR-Ca2+ leak. The latter was associated with reduced phosphorylation of cytosolic CaMKII&#948;. Despite normal contractile function and Ca2+ handling after the training period, phospholamban was hyperphosphorylated at Serine-16. Protein kinase A (PKA) inhibition (H-89) in cardiomyocytes from the exercised db/db group abolished the differences in SR-Ca2+ load when compared with the sedentary db/db mice. EC-coupling changes were observed without changes in serum insulin or glucose levels, suggesting that the exercise training-induced effects are not via normalization of the diabetic condition. These data demonstrate that aerobic interval training almost completely restored the contractile function of the diabetic cardiomyocyte to levels close to sedentary wild type (WT)
