    Security Issues in Mobile Payment from the Customer Viewpoint

    The perception of mobile payment procedures’ security by the customer is one major factor for the market breakthrough of the according systems. In this paper we examine security issues in mobile payment from the viewpoint of customers. Based on theoretical research we analyze empirical data from the MP2 mobile payment study with 8295 respondents in order to develop a set of dimensions, categories and aspects. The results do have a scientific as well as a practical impact: They provide a basis for the selection of appropriate indicators for further empirical studies. Furthermore they can serve as a guideline for mobile payment service providers in order to prevent security concerns through appropriate design and communication of payment procedures and to convince customers of the security of their mobile procedures by meeting concerns in informative advertising.

    Die Penetration mobiler Endgeräte nimmt weltweit stetig zu. In einigen westeuropäischen Ländern sind die Märkte inzwischen nahezu vollständig abgedeckt und auch in Deutschland zählen inzwischen mehr als 87% der Bundesbürger zu den Mobilfunknutzern. Diese hohen Penetrationsraten stimulieren die ständige Neu- und Weiterentwicklung mobiler Anwendungen und Dienste. Eine viel versprechende Entwicklung stellt dabei das so genannte Mobile Ticketing dar, das den Verkauf und/oder Vertrieb von Eintrittskarten über mobile Endgeräte ermöglicht. Mobile Ticketing bietet sowohl für Anbieter als auch für Nachfrager erhebliche Vorteile und wird deshalb als mobile Anwendung mit hohem Potenzial erachtet. Dennoch setzen sich weder Wissenschaft noch Praxis bisher ausreichend mit der mehrwertorientierten Gestaltung von Mobile Ticketing auseinander. Dabei ist die Akzeptanz durch potenzielle Nutzer Voraussetzung für den Markterfolg von Mobile Ticketing. Sie wird wesentlich determiniert durch den Mehrwert, den die mobile Anwendung bietet. Zentrales Ziel der vorliegenden Studie ist es daher, mehrwertstiftende Faktoren des Mobile Ticketing zu identifizieren und zu untersuchen. Hierzu werden zunächst mittels einer Expertenbefragung die den mobilen Ticketkauf determinierenden Eigenschaften ermittelt. In einem zweiten Schritt werden die Präferenzstrukturen hinsichtlich des optimalen Leistungsbündels eines Mobile Ticketing-Dienstes im Rahmen einer adaptiven Conjoint-Analyse untersucht

    Pada teknologi fintech mobile payment terdapat beberapa hal yang membuat seseorang ingin menggunakan mobile payment yaitu keamanan, kecepatan transaksi dan kenyamanan. Tujuan penelitian ini akan membahas pengaruh keamanan, kecepatan transaksi dan kenyamanan terhadap penggunaan mobile payment. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang membagikan kuesioner secara online dengan/1jumlah responden yang terkumpul sebanyak 109 responden. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan alat bantu analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) pada program SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keamanan dan kenyamanan mempengaruhi penggunaan mobile payment, sedangkan kecepatan transaksi tidak mempengaruhi penggunaan mobile payment
