In building a network of points that a lot of attention is on the network operatingsystem installation and implementation of network security systems and maintenanceof existing network systems. Data security is very important but because it provideswindows applications security system that can protect applications that are used bythe user that is using the mandatory profile and policy editor. a user is restricted tolimit the network but also users can create security on the local drive directory is usedso it can not be accessed by anyone, including supervisors

    Network-based indicators of Bitcoin bubbles

The functioning of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin relies on the open availability of the entire history of its transactions. This makes it a particularly interesting socio-economic system to analyse from the point of view of network science. Here we analyse the evolution of the network of Bitcoin transactions between users. We achieve this by using the complete transaction history from December 5th 2011 to December 23rd 2013. This period includes three bubbles experienced by the Bitcoin price. In particular, we focus on the global and local structural properties of the user network and their variation in relation to the different period of price surge and decline. By analysing the temporal variation of the heterogeneity of the connectivity patterns we gain insights on the different mechanisms that take place during bubbles, and find that hubs (i.e., the most connected nodes) had a fundamental role in triggering the burst of the second bubble. Finally, we examine the local topological structures of interactions between users, we discover that the relative frequency of triadic interactions experiences a strong change before, during and after a bubble, and suggest that the importance of the hubs grows during the bubble. These results provide further evidence that the behaviour of the hubs during bubbles significantly increases the systemic risk of the Bitcoin network, and discuss the implications on public policy interventions

Network-based computer by using the soundcard packet radio modem has many features compared to conventional networks, packet radio networks can use the soundcard as a radio modem, thus reducing costs in their manufacture, and soundcards that we use for the radio modem can we change the configuration so that it can reduce costs in the production network packet radio

    Network-Based Classrooms

Computer-mediated communication is an increasingly familiar part of the educational experiences of students from elementary school through graduate school. This is not surprising, because electronic mail, bulletin boards, gopher servers, and other forms of telecommunication offer conveniences and exciting new possibilities for learning. The rapid expansion of the Internet, the availability of low-cost modems and high-speed data lines, and a growing awareness of the educational possibilities are leading to major changes in classrooms. The many ways in which network-based classrooms are used highlights questions about the goals and means of education that are too often pushed aside. By affording new ways of communicating, these classrooms ask us to rethink questions such as: What role should the teacher have in the classroom? How can students support each other???s learning? What kinds of writing should students learn to do? How should we accommodate, or balance, student interests with other curricular concerns? What is needed to make a classroom become a true learning community? In addition to raising these questions, they provide us with new possibilities for answering them.published or submitted for publicationis peer reviewe

A Neural-Network-Based Indoor Positioning System by Using Sectored Antenna Array

This paper presents the development of sectored antenna array and modified probabilistic neural network positioning algorithm for an indoor positioning system (IPS). Firstly, a new hexagonal IPS station is composed of six printed-circuit board Yagi-Uda antennas and Zigbee modules. It is designed to obtain the signals between an object and the station. Then, a modified probabilistic neural network (MPNN) is applied to estimate the accurate position of the object with the signal strength. From the experimental positioning results shown, the developed IPS system has the outperformance in an 8x8 square meters indoor scene. The proposed indoor positioning technique not only has a high positioning accuracy, but also is an effective solution to solve the difficult issue of positioning station deployment

Network-based method for inferring cancer progression at the pathway level from cross-sectional mutation data

Large-scale cancer genomics projects are providing a wealth of somatic mutation data from a large number of cancer patients. However, it is difficult to obtain several samples with a temporal order from one patient in evaluating the cancer progression. Therefore, one of the most challenging problems arising from the data is to infer the temporal order of mutations across many patients. To solve the problem efficiently, we present a Network-based method (NetInf) to Infer cancer progression at the pathway level from cross-sectional data across many patients, leveraging on the exclusive property of driver mutations within a pathway and the property of linear progression between pathways. To assess the robustness of NetInf, we apply it on simulated data with the addition of different levels of noise. To verify the performance of NetInf, we apply it to analyze somatic mutation data from three real cancer studies with large number of samples. Experimental results reveal that the pathways detected by NetInf show significant enrichment. Our method reduces computational complexity by constructing gene networks without assigning the number of pathways, which also provides new insights on the temporal order of somatic mutations at the pathway level rather than at the gene level
