Entanglement in indistinguishable particle systems
For systems consisting of distinguishable particles, there exists an agreed upon notion of entanglement which is fundamentally based on the possibility of addressing individually each one of the constituent parties. Instead, the indistinguishability of identical particles hinders their individual addressability and has prompted diverse, sometimes discordant definitions of entanglement. In the present review, we provide a comparative analysis of the
relevant existing approaches, which is based on the characterization of bipartite entanglement in terms of the behaviour of correlation functions. Such a a point of view provides a fairly general setting where to discuss the presence of non-local effects; it is performed in the light of the following general consistency criteria: i) entanglement corresponds to non-local correlations and cannot be generated by local operations; ii) when, by "freezing" suitable degrees of freedom, identical particles can be effectively
distinguished, their entanglement must reduce to the one that holds for distinguishable particles; iii) in absence of other quantum resources, only entanglement can outperform classical information protocols. These three requests provide a setting that allows to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the existing approaches to indistinguishable particle entanglement and to contribute to the current understanding of such a crucial issue. Indeed, they
can be classified into five different classes: four hinging on the notion of particle and one based on that of physical modes. We show that only the latter approach is consistent with all three criteria, each of the others indeed violating at least one of them
Fundamental Awareness: A Framework for Integrating Science, Philosophy and Metaphysics
The ontologic framework of Fundamental Awareness proposed here assumes that non-dual Awareness is foundational to the universe, not arising from the interactions or structures of higher level phenomena. The framework allows comparison and integration of views from the three investigative domains concerned with understanding the nature of consciousness: science, philosophy, and metaphysics. In this framework, Awareness is the underlying reality, not reducible to anything else. Awareness and existence are the same. As such, the universe is non-material, self-organizing throughout, a holarchy of complementary, process driven, recursive interactions. The universe is both its own first observer and subject. Considering the world to be non-material and comprised, a priori, of Awareness is to privilege information over materiality, action over agency and to understand that qualia are not a âhard problem,â but the foundational elements of all existence. These views fully reflect main stream Western philosophical traditions, insights from culturally diverse contemplative and mystical traditions, and are in keeping with current scientific thinking, expressible mathematically
Non-Hermitian Topological Magnonics
Dissipation in mechanics, optics, acoustics, and electronic circuits is
nowadays recognized to be not always detrimental but can be exploited to
achieve non-Hermitian topological phases or properties with functionalities for
potential device applications. As elementary excitations of ordered magnetic
moments that exist in various magnetic materials, magnons are the information
carriers in magnonic devices with low-energy consumption for reprogrammable
logic, non-reciprocal communication, and non-volatile memory functionalities.
Non-Hermitian topological magnonics deals with the engineering of dissipation
and/or gain for non-Hermitian topological phases or properties in magnets that
are not achievable in the conventional Hermitian scenario, with associated
functionalities cross-fertilized with their electronic, acoustic, optic, and
mechanic counterparts, such as giant enhancement of magnonic frequency combs,
magnon amplification, (quantum) sensing of the magnetic field with
unprecedented sensitivity, magnon accumulation, and perfect absorption of
microwaves. In this review article, we address the unified approach in
constructing magnonic non-Hermitian Hamiltonian, introduce the basic
non-Hermitian topological physics, and provide a comprehensive overview of the
recent theoretical and experimental progress towards achieving distinct
non-Hermitian topological phases or properties in magnonic devices, including
exceptional points, exceptional nodal phases, non-Hermitian magnonic SSH model,
and non-Hermitian skin effect. We emphasize the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian
approach based on the Lindbladian or self-energy of the magnonic subsystem but
address the physics beyond it as well, such as the crucial quantum jump effect
in the quantum regime and non-Markovian dynamics. We provide a perspective for
future opportunities and challenges before concluding this article.Comment: 101 pages, 35 figure
A new spin on top-quark physics: using angular distributions to probe top-quark properties, and make the first observation of entanglement between quarks
Measurements of angular properties of top-quarks constitute stringent tests of the Standard Model, probe physics beyond it, and even reveal underlying quantum information phenomena. This thesis discusses angular top-quark properties in two new contexts. A study of ttÂŻ spin correlations and top-quark polarisations in associated ttÂŻZ production presents theoretical predictions for these parameters at âs = 13TeV. A measurement strategy for observation of spin correlations in ttÂŻZ production at the Large Hadron Collider is proposed, and the constraint on effective field theory models provided by angular observables investigated. Related angular observables are used to make the first ever observation of quantum entanglement between quarks, in the di-leptonic ttÂŻ -production channel. An entanglement marker D is extracted from an angular differential cross-section measured in ATLAS âs = 13TeV proton-proton collision data, and corrected to a fiducial particle-level phase-space. This observed entanglement marker is found to be â0.547 ±0.022, corresponding to an exclusion of the no-entanglement hypothesis well in excess of five standard deviations. Short studies on novel methods to emulate the ATLAS detector response are also presented

The main ideas of the EDWs perspective are in Gabriel Vacariuâs PhD thesis posted online by UNSW (Australia) in 2007!!! I have realized the GREATEST discovery in the history of human knowledge: the EDWs! With discovering the EDWs, I have changed everything in Philosophy, Physics and Cognitive Neuroscience! This has been the main reason, so many people have published UNBELIEVABLE similar ideas to my ideas, many years I published my first works!
UNBELIEVABLE, many (hundreds) âgreatâ or small thinkers did the same thing in 2006-2007 and later: they published the same ideas, UNBELIEVABLE similar to my ideas from 2002-2005! They believe they would be considered co-authors of the same new framework of thinking. They did not know that many âprofessorsâ would do the same thing: they plagiarized my ideas and they hurry up to published their work as soon as possible (in 2006-2007, depending when they discovered my article 2005). So, in the same 2 years, many people âdiscoveredâ the same new framework of thinking, the EDWs perspective, each of them did not think that there would be so many other people doing the same thing, that is, many people âdiscoveredâ the same new framework (the greatest challenge in the history of human thinking!) in the same period! Such coincidences (the discovery of the EDWs in the same two years!!!) are quite IMPOSSIBLE!! This is the reason nobody quoted my name, but nobody quoted any name who PLAGIARIZED my ideas⊠In 2006-2007, I was wondering why nobody quote my name, but in fact, they plagiarized my ideas. Nobody discovered this framework of thinking 2500 years, and in 2-3 years, many people discovered it!!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!!! There were some "professors" who published articles/chapters very close to Bohr's complementarity, Dirac, de Broglie's dualism before 2005 (for instance Carlo Rovelli 1996 or Ladyman), but their works were constructed within the "unicorn world" (Universe/world), therefore, these works had nothing in common with the EDWs perspective!!!! In reality, all of them plagiarized my ideas! It was like many people composed Beethoven Fifthâs Symphony, claiming that they never listen Beethoven! Who would be so stupid to believe them
