Language Style in Mario Teguh Golden Ways Talk Show

This study deals with the type of language style used in Mario Teguh GoldenWays Talk Show. The objectives of this study are to find out the most types oflanguage style, to describe how the most dominant language style used and toreason for the use of the most dominant language style used by Mario Teguh inMario Teguh Golden Ways Talk Show. The study was conducted by usingdescriptive qualitative method. The data of this research were utterances of MarioTeguh in Mario Teguh Golden Ways Talk Show. The findings of this researchare the most dominant of language used by Mario Teguh in Mario Teguh GoldenWays is consultative style (60.6%) followed by casual style (32.45%), frozen style(5.2%), formal style(1.8%) and intimate style (0%). In this talk show Mario Teguhtends to use consulative style while he was speaking with the participants toprovide more explicit background information of the participant's problems. Theconsultative style in all context is used to make audiences easily understand howthe topic is going on in their life

The Effect of Organizational Culture on Work-Life Balance

This study evaluates the relationship between organizational culture and work-life balance. Organizations which have policies and benefits in place generally create a stronger work-life balance for employees, but if the employees do not take advantage of the policies, then the overall balance will decrease. The study tested the relationship between cultural leadership style and the effects on work-life balance of employees. With thorough evaluation of the four cultural leadership styles, organizations were ranked on a scale with employee work life balance, as well as leadership style. Through personal interviews, a survey, and observations, these variables were tested. For my study, I interviewed 34 people from seven organizations across Maryland. The results found did not match those in previous studies. This research concluded that there was no significant relationship between the organizational leadership culture and work-life balance of employees. The research demonstrates that all leadership styles are capable of having strong work-life balance for employees, but it truly depends directly on the supervisor, and not as much on the leadership style

In search of an evolutionary coding style

In the near future, all the human genes will be identified. But understanding the functions coded in the genes is a much harder problem. For example, by using block entropy, one has that the DNA code is closer to a random code then written text, which in turn is less ordered then an ordinary computer code; see \cite{schmitt}. Instead of saying that the DNA is badly written, using our programming standards, we might say that it is written in a different style -- an evolutionary style. We will suggest a way to search for such a style in a quantified manner by using an artificial life program, and by giving a definition of general codes and a definition of style for such codes.Comment: 14 pages, 7 postscript figure
