The school was established for the process of learning and teaching each student will be educated and guided by teachers to be able to behave politely and be more forward thinking. High School Jakarta is the 79th country schools that have high discipline and good. Learning system SMA 79 Jakarta aims to facilitate the performance of teachers at a school. Program designed to assist system schedule of activities the students at the school, 79 high schools. To create a program such a system, the computer is a tool that is considered important. Program system of teaching and learning activities schedule 79 high schools was created using Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0. Because by using Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0 system of teaching and learning activities schedule 79 high schools became easier designed to utilize the various facilities provided by Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0. So the system is easy to use

The neural correlates of speech motor sequence learning

Speech is perhaps the most sophisticated example of a species-wide movement capability in the animal kingdom, requiring split-second sequencing of approximately 100 muscles in the respiratory, laryngeal, and oral movement systems. Despite the unique role speech plays in human interaction and the debilitating impact of its disruption, little is known about the neural mechanisms underlying speech motor learning. Here, we studied the behavioral and neural correlates of learning new speech motor sequences. Participants repeatedly produced novel, meaningless syllables comprising illegal consonant clusters (e.g., GVAZF) over 2 days of practice. Following practice, participants produced the sequences with fewer errors and shorter durations, indicative of motor learning. Using fMRI, we compared brain activity during production of the learned illegal sequences and novel illegal sequences. Greater activity was noted during production of novel sequences in brain regions linked to non-speech motor sequence learning, including the BG and pre-SMA. Activity during novel sequence production was also greater in brain regions associated with learning and maintaining speech motor programs, including lateral premotor cortex, frontal operculum, and posterior superior temporal cortex. Measures of learning success correlated positively with activity in left frontal operculum and white matter integrity under left posterior superior temporal sulcus. These findings indicate speech motor sequence learning relies not only on brain areas involved generally in motor sequencing learning but also those associated with feedback-based speech motor learning. Furthermore, learning success is modulated by the integrity of structural connectivity between these motor and sensory brain regions.R01 DC007683 - NIDCD NIH HHS; R01DC007683 - NIDCD NIH HH

A Four Dimensional Model of Formal and Informal Learning

    No full text
Learning systems focused on collaborative learning are often described in terms of formal and informal learning, however definitions of formal and informal learning vary, which makes it difficult to compare systems that may have been described using different perspectives. In this paper we present a framework for describing formality in e-learning systems, which can account for the most common perspectives: formality focused on Learning Objective, Learning Environment, Learning Activity and/or Learning Tool. Our framework can be used to compare different e-learning systems, and can also describe collaborative systems where different students can take very different roles in the activity, and the degree of formality can vary according to the role

Learning and discrimination through STDP in a top-down modulated associative memory

This article underlines the learning and discrimination capabilities of a model of associative memory based on artificial networks of spiking neurons. Inspired from neuropsychology and neurobiology, the model implements top-down modulations, as in neocortical layer V pyramidal neurons, with a learning rule based on synaptic plasticity (STDP), for performing a multimodal association learning task. A temporal correlation method of analysis proves the ability of the model to associate specific activity patterns to different samples of stimulation. Even in the absence of initial learning and with continuously varying weights, the activity patterns become stable enough for discrimination

Technical and Vocational Education in Malaysia (TVET) is one of the most important branches of education to produce a balanced human capital. Not only the skills in the field need to be emphasized, but the skills also need to be enhanced under the 'Eleventh Malaysia Plan ' (RMK-11). 21st century learning is a student centered learning process based on 4C’s elements which are communication, collaborative, critical thinking and creativity. The importance of producing 21st century learning based modules is essential to ensure that TVET students, especially at the Vocational College, are exposed to 21st century learning activities and can apply the 4C’s element. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop Basic Quantity Surveying Learning Module Through The 21st Century Learning Activity that tested its validity and credibility as reference material or teaching aids to assist teachers and students taking this course. This module design has two stages beginning with goal building and ending with a complete module that is ready to use. The module validation process involves using the instrument and involving three experts for verification. The evaluation of the module validation consists of a questionnaire consisting of 28 items based on the format and content of the module. The findings show that Basic Quantity Surveying Learning Module Through The 21st Century Learning Activity is highly validated. Analyst views are presented as a percentage. Based on the result, 96% agree on the design of the module while 98.46%. agree on the content of the module developed. Through the analysis of the findings, the Basic Quantity Surveying Module Through The 21st Century Learning Activities has high content validity
