    This research is written to develop English Computer Module based on Constructivism for Informatics Engineering Students. In Informatics Engineering department, graduates are expected to have an ability to speak English in order to compete in their job profession. Therefore, it is considered necessary to compile an English Computer module that is specific to the context and purpose with the students of the Informatics Engineering course. The main purpose of this research is to produce English Computer Module for Informatics Engineering students with valid, practice, and effective. The long term goal of this research is to make Engineering students are able to master English language that can be their provision in order to compete in their job profession. This teaching module developed by Constructivism. This research used Research and Development method of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). This research was conducted in the second semester of Informatics Engineering students. In the analysis stage, it was conducted needs analysis and situation analysis. Design stage was conducted by designing Computer English modules based on tasks, lesson plan, and assessment instrument of Computer English modules. Develop stage was conducted by developing teaching material. Implement stage was conducted by implementing teaching material in Engineering class. Finally, the Evaluate stage was an evaluation of the implementation each stages of ADDIE model. The data in this research were collected by using the validation sheet of teaching material, lesson plan, questionnaires respond of Informatics Engineering English lecturer and Engineering students, and students test result. The result of this English Computer Module based on Constructivism for Informatics Engineering Students is valid, practice, effective criteria and accordance to the Engineering students’ needs

    With the COVID-19 pandemic, universities in Bojonegoro Regency, especially Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University, are conducting online lectures. In the implementation of learning, it is different from conventional lectures so that the use of learning models determines the effectiveness of online lectures during the COVID-19 period. This study examines the perceptions of Informatics Engineering students' learning models through approaches to the use of learning media in online lectures, learning communication models, learning styles, and the effectiveness of online lectures. This research is specifically for Informatics Engineering students whose learning is not only limited to delivering material but needs to be carried out in practicum both in the laboratory and in the field. Along with the online learning process, some material that should have been carried out by research had to not be carried out. Given these obstacles, student perceptions regarding the effectiveness of online lectures that lead to learning models with learning media approaches, communication models, learning styles among Informatics Engineering students in Bojonegoro Regency determine the success of this learning process. With this, researchers examine the perceptions of Informatics Engineering students towards online lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted to determine student perceptions of online learning. This research uses Descriptive Analysis, namely to examine the perceptions of Informatics Engineering students regarding online learning models during the COVID-19 pandemic. Which online learning model can be known through several approaches, such as online learning media, learning communication models, learning styles and the effectiveness of online learning. Data obtained from observations in the form of giving online questionnaires. The samples involved were Informatics Engineering students at Nahdlatul Ulama University Sunan Giri Bojonegoro as respondents in this study. In this 4.0 Industrial Revolution era, Informatics Engineering graduates fill the position in any field. Either men or women can do this job without any obstacle. Women from Dayaknese Communities have ability to adjust with any of other cultures. Their flexibility is taught by their ancestor and it is included in their family values.This fact is supporting that Informatics engineering graduates should have a cross cultural competencies to face global job market.     The CHAIN WRITING METHOD IN LEARNING WRITING FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FACULTY STUDENTS: The Effectiveness

    This study purposes in determining the effectiveness of students writing ability on descriptive text being taught using the Chain Writing Method for the B class of Informatics Engineering Study Program Balitar Islamic University 2020/2021 academic year. This research is an experimental research, which uses the chain writing method to find out its effectiveness from student learning outcomes. The population of this study were first semester students of Informatics Engineering Study program which consisted of 21 students as a sample. The researchers applied one group pretest posttest. The sampling technique is random sampling. The method used is a quasi-experimental design.  The pretest result done by Informatics Engineering students shown the average was 44.19%. The pre-test was conducted by researcher in March 2020. Then it can be concluded that their Writing Descriptive text ability are not good enough. The results of data analysis, known that the chain writing method is more effectively used in learning to write descriptive text for B class of Informatics Engineering students. It has significance difference in mean of determining by prĂ©cising statistics of dependent T-test. From the calculating result of the t-test found that the t-value obtained was 5,959, while the required critical t-value at p> .05, the level of significance of the two tailed test is 2.086 (df = 20), p> .01 the two tailed significant level of test was 2.845 (df = 20). The data results of this research indicates that there is a significance difference in pretest and posttest score result. This proves that the chain writing method is effective method in learning the descriptive texts for the informatics engineering class in the 2020/2021 academic year

    The process of attendance information that already exists at Palangka Raya University Informatics Engineering cannot be monitored or is still sharing manually using social media, especially such as informing the presence / presence of lecturers on campus for consultation or signature documents. The purpose of this research is to design and build a Mobile Assistant Application for Informatics Engineering at Palangka Raya University, whose development is based on Location Based Service using a prototype methodology with stages of Communication, Quick plan, Modeling Quick Design, Prototype Formation, Deployment Delivery & Feedback. The modeling of the system uses Java Android object-oriented programming and structured for web applications using the programming language using PHP database using MySQL. From the research conducted, the writer implements the results of the research into the Mobile Assistant Application of the Informatics Engineering Department of Palangka Raya University where there are features of lecturer attendance, class schedules and practicum, as well as assignments. The application of Location Based Service in this application is applied to the Google Map API with geofencing, the central point of the Informatics Engineering department is made a marker that generates a radius where if the application user enters into each radius it will produce a room information notification and send an update of the data to the database as the presence status lecturer.         &nbsp

    This research is Entitled The Effectiveness Of Online Learning After The Covid-10 Pandemic In The Informatics Engineering Study Program at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi YBS Internasional. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of online learning after the covid-19 pandemic in the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Ybs Internasional. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of 15o students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program starting from class of 2018 to 2022 which is applied to the Odd Semester of the academic year 2022-2023. The number of sample amount 60 students and it was taken by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data coolection was obtained by distributing questionnaires using the assist of Google Form which consists of 21 statement items. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis using a percentage calculation formula with the assist of Microsoft Office Excel. The result of the research shows that the Online Learning After the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Informatics Engineering Study Program was classified as effective. This can be seen from the quality learning indicator of 78,10%, the learning level compliance of 78,67%, the incentive of 77,80% and the time indicator of 82,44% with all average is 78,81% and it is categorized as efevtive

    Blended-Learning: the Responses From Non-English Students in the Indonesian Tertiary Context

    The process of language teaching and learning has undergone major changes due to the developments of technology. The use of technology in education field has paved the way for higher education institution to innovatively shape their modern media in a language teaching and learning. Subsequently, the implementation of blended-learning has aroused at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia for approximately one and a half year ago to maximize the use of technology. Most lecturers in all study programs have increasingly utilized the social network sites such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. for the successfulness of blended-learning. This present study aims at exploring the students' responses on how blended-learning might be used to develop their language learning and discovering their attitudes towards the implementation of blended-learning as an interactional teaching and learning tool in English for Business course. Employing a qualitative in form of a case study, eighty-two undergraduate students from study program of Informatics Engineering were observed, interviewed, and distributed questionnaires. The data were performed to collect the students' responses and students' attitudes toward the implementation of blended-learning in the process of their language learning. The findings were found out that most students from Informatics Engineering major showed their positive responses and positive attitudes using blended learning for the language teaching and learning. They also gained some educational benefits for their English language development. Thus, this blended learning brings us to the new trend for language teaching and learning media in order to motivate the students in enhancing their language acquisition

    Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA) has many Informatics Engineering alumni from various cities in Indonesia. Informatics Engineering department currenty has no facilities to accomodate the alumni to maintain communication within each others. Moreover, alumni face problem in doing job search because it is difficult to find vacancies suitable to their field. It is also difficult to search freelance software or system development projects.Based on that current problems, the department needs a system as a medium to gather alumni in order to establish communication within each othersand provide features which can help alumni find jobs in accordance with their desired field. The system created is a special social media alumni of Informatics Engineering of Universitas Surabaya by providing job search feature and freelance projects.Features on this system is made based on requirements obtained from analysis of similar system. From the validation of this system, it is concluded that the system is able to meet the requirements of alumni in terms of expanding and strengthen alumni relation within each others, and also facilitates alumni to search jobs and freelance projects

    The Use of Flowchart in Improving Students’ Ability in Writing Paragraph

    This research aimed at finding out the use of flowchart in improving the ability of the fifth semester students of Informatics Engineering Study Program of Cokroaminoto Palopo University to write paragraph and to find out the interest of the students to write paragraph by using flowchart. This research was pre-experimental. Independent variable of the research is using flowchart in writing a paragraph and dependent variable is the ability of students to write a paragraph. The population of the research was the fifth semester students of Informatics Engineering Study Program of Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. The sample was one class of the fifth semester students of Informatics Engineering Study Program of Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. The result shows that flowchart is effective to use in improving students’ ability in writing because there was a significant difference between the progresses in writing of the students who were studying through flowchart and those are not. By flowchart strategy, the students can express their ideas easily without stopping and rushing. It gave them writing power and easy to understand
