Implementation of a Micro Web Server for Peer-to-Peer Applications

In this paper we present the design and implementation of a very low cost web server to be used for monitoring and control by means of peer-to-peer standard Internet connections. Tokeep low the cost of the host a low cost off-the-shelf microcontroller is adopted. Because of the limited hardware resources of this device the TCP/IP protocol stack has to be designed ad hoc. The paper describes the design principles followed in the implementation, with particular emphasis on the choices adopted to overcome the hardware limitations
