UJI EFEKTIVITAS EKSTRAK HERBA MENIRAN (Phyllantus niruri L.) SEBAGAI HEPATOPROTEKTOR TERHADAP KADAR BILIRUBIN TOTAL SERUM TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus norvegicus)

Liver or hepar is one of the very complex and all important organ in metabolism in body. Liver often become target organ because getting mixed up with chemical metabolism which have the character of toxic and also free radical. the free radical and toxic chemical can cause damage of cell, network, macromolecules and also membrane. Activity of the free radical can be weakened by existence of an antioksidan. Basically hepar the functioningness as system defence of body it is of course also have antioksidan the good enoughness, however caused by hit liver shares free radical hence liver activity not maximal, so that require to be given by antioksidan coming from outside body. In so many plant medicinize a lot of consisting in vitaminses able to share antioksidan one of them is Meniran ( Phyllantus Niruri L.). Active Compound at meniran which is have potency as antioksidan is flavonoid. Intention of this research is to know effect of extract herba meniran in normal rate bilirubin total of white mouse serum and to know extract concentration of herba meniran which is effective peling in normal rate bilirubin total of white mouse serum which induceed by CCL4. This Research have the character of True Experiment of Research ( real research) by using Complete Random Device ( divided RAL) to become 5 treatment and 5 restating, that is ; Normal ( I), CCL4 ( II), Extract of Herba Meniran dose 5 + CCL4 ( III), Extract of Herba Meniran dose 10 + CCL4 ( IV), and also extract of herba dose meniran 15 + CCL4 ( V). Analysis Data which used in this research is; Test of Normalitas, Test Homogeneity, Test one way ANAVA and Test of Duncan with level 5%. obtained result of this research indicate that extract of herba meniran with dose 5%, ! 0% and 15% can degrade again rate of bilirubin white mouse serum which induceed by CCL4. Pursuant to Test of Duncan 5%, can know that extract concentration of herba most effective meniran in degrading rate of bilirubin white mouse serum is dose 15%. Thereby, in this research can be proved that Extract herba meniran can degrade again rate of bilirubin total of white mouse serum which induceed by CCL4

Identifikasi Kandungan Kimia Ekstrak Terpurifikasi Herba Sambiloto

Herba sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm. f.) Ness) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak digunakan dalam pengobatan tradisional untuk berbagai penyakit. Herba sambiloto telah dilaporkan memiliki aktivitas sebagai antiinflamasi, antibakteri, antipiretik, antioksidan, hepatoprotektor,dan antidiabetes. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kandungan kimia yang terdapat dalam ekstrak terpurifikasi herba sambiloto. Ekstrak terpurifikasi dibuat dengan mengekstraksi serbuk herba sambiloto dengan metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 90%. Kemudian dilakukan purifikasi bertahap menggunakan pelarut n-hexan, etil asetat dan air. Identifikasi kandungan kimia yang dilakukan terhadap ekstrak terpurifikasi untuk medeteksi golongan kandungan kimia minyak atsiri, alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, steroid dan terpenoid. MEDICINAL AND AROMATIC PLANTS (MAP) – A CHAIN OF COMPETITIVENESS IN ROMANIAN AGRICULTURE

On agro-food products’ market of the European Market a saturation of products has been reached, attaining the stage of limitation, by means of certain policies and specific levers, of the expansion of this market. Romania faced the situation of member state of EU, when, after year 2006, it entered a harsh competition, in which the predominant word is saturation. This is the reason for which the post-accession studies in agriculture must aim both at valorizing the natural potential of not-exploited or less exploited resources of Romania, and at finding out solutions to increase competitiveness of the field, in which Romania feels threatened, aiming first of all at the markets of traditional products. Competitiveness is based on criteria of economic efficiency, according to which an important place takes the rational and efficient exploitation of the natural resources, especially in agriculture. In order to point out the significance of MAP cultures, we will make a comparison of some indicators of efficience of the wheat, corn, colza cultures and several medicinal plants which were cultivated and studied. The comparison will be made taking into consideration both the data of average efficiency in case of MAP (using classical technologies, without applying the knowledge discovered by the researches of the field), and the maximal ones on the crops and MAP cultures (by application of knowledge resulted from agronomic research specific for the improvement of the technology of each species of MAP). Formulasi Krim Ekstrak Etanol Herba Pegagan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) Konsentrasi 6% Dan 10% Dengan Basis Cold Cream Dan Vanishing Cream Serta Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Terhadap Staphylococcus aureus

Ekstrak etanol herba pegagan mempunyai aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus, salah satu bakteri penyebab infeksi piogenik pada kulit. Kemudahan penggunaan dan efektivitas ekstrak etanol herba pegagan sebagai antibakteri bisa ditingkatkan dengan memformulasikan ekstrak dalam sediaan krim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan formulasi krim ekstrak etanol herba pegagan terhadap sifat fisik dan aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Krim diformulasikan dalam dua tipe basis yaitu cold cream dan vanishing cream dengan penambahan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak 6% dan 10%. Evaluasi sediaan krim yang dilakukan meliputi pemeriksaan organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, viskositas, daya sebar, daya lekat, dan aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Pengamatan aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan mengukur diameter zona hambat yang terbentuk di sekitar sumuran. Data uji sifat fisik dan aktivitas antibakteri yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Anova dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa krim ekstrak etanol herba pegagan dengan basis vanishing cream mempunyai daya sebar dan aktivitas antibakteri lebih besar serta viskositas dan daya lekat lebih rendah dibandingkan krim ekstrak etanol herba pegagan dengan basis cold cream. Aktivitas antibakteri krim ekstrak etanol herba pegagan dengan basis vanishing cream mempunyai diameter zona hambat sebesar 8,12 ± 0,14 pada konsentrasi ekstrak 6% dan 9,25 ± 0,29 pada konsentrasi ekstrak 10%, sedangkan krim ekstrak etanol herba pegagan dengan basis cold cream mempunyai diameter zona hambat sebesar 7,06 ± 0,12 dan 7,62 ± 0,14 masing-masing pada konsentrasi ekstrak 6% dan 10%

Uji Efektivitas Antiinflamasi Infus Herba Suruhan (Peperomia Pellucida L.) Pada Tikus Putih (Rattus Norvegicus)

Telah dilakukan penelitian uji efektivitas antiinflamasi infus herba Suruhan (Peperomia pellucida L.) pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus). Inflamasi merupakan gangguan yang sering terjadi pada manusia dan hewan. Herba Suruhan mengandung kalsium oksalat yang berkhasiat mengobati bengkak dan nyeri pada rematik gout. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek antiinflamasi infus herba Suruhan pada tikus putih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen laboratorium dengan rancangan Pretest and Postest with Control Group Design. Subyek penelitian adalah tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) sebanyak 25 ekor dan dibagi 5 kelompok dengan perlakuan kelompok I sebagai kontrol negatif diberi aquadest, kelompok II diberi fenilbutason sebagai kontrol positif dan kelompok III, IV dan V diberi infus herba Suruhan dengan konsentrasi 15%, 30% dan 60%. Pengujian antiinflamasi dilakukan pada telapak kaki tikus putih yang diinduksi 0,5 mL larutan putih telur 10% dan pemberian perlakuan 3 x sehari selama 3 hari. Pengukuran volume telapak kaki tikus dilakukan sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah 1 hari, 2 hari dan 3 hari perlakuan. Data dianalisis mengunakan uji Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa infus herba Suruhan memiliki efek antiinflamasi pada tikus putih (p < 0,05)
