Strafrecht und Demokratie

Strafrecht und Demokratie stehen in einem engen Zusammenhang. Der nähere Blick auf diesen Zusammenhang offenbart allerdings vielfältige Herausforderungen, die sich durch Pandemie oder Fake-News, aber auch durch die auf den Gesetzgebungsprozess einwirkenden Akteure ergeben. Zudem stellen sich grundlegende rechtstheoretische und rechtspraktische Fragen im Umgang mit dem Gesetzlichkeitsgrundsatz in Strafsachen. Das 9. Symposium des Jungen Strafrechts hat ausgewählte Forschungsfragen untersucht, die sich hieraus für die Strafrechtswissenschaften ergeben. Themenbereiche der Beiträge betreffen unter anderem die Internationalisierung von Strafrecht, die strafrechtsgestaltenden Akteure sowie verfassungstheoretische und rechtsphilosophische Schwerpunkte des Legalitätsgrundsatzes.Criminal law and democracy are closely intertwined.
