In this paper a methodology for fusion quality

evaluation is proposed in the case of many source images to be

fused in a single one. Various multiresolution fusion

methodologies are compared, and experimental results are

shown. Numerical results, in terms of quality of the fused images

and of computational load, are presented and discussed with

reference to avionic scenarios
