    Las estrategias pedag贸gicas y la deserci贸n escolar son fen贸menos de 铆ndice social que afectan a la comunidad educativa, de ah铆 que el presente estudio abord贸 la relaci贸n entre las estrategias pedag贸gicas implementadas por los docentes de bachillerato y media, y la deserci贸n escolar. Su prop贸sito fue analizar la relaci贸n entre las estrategias pedag贸gicas implementadas por los docentes y la deserci贸n escolar de los estudiantes de bachillerato y media en la instituci贸n educativa Nueva Uni贸n del municipio de Tierralta. La investigaci贸n es de tipo descriptivo correlacional, con enfoque cuantitativo. Los resultados arrojan que existe una correlaci贸n directa, con niveles de intensidad moderada y alta, y estad铆sticamente significativa muy significativa, entre las estrategias pedag贸gicas y la deserci贸n escolar en la IE Nueva Uni贸n. Concluye el autor que Entre los aspectos m谩s significativos de este trabajo est谩 que se logr贸 concretar un an谩lisis detallado de las variables generales y de sus correspondientes dimensiones, porque permitieron el establecimiento de correlaciones entre ellas expresadas en sus caracter铆sticas de direccionalidad, niveles de intensidad y significancia. Adem谩s, pudo establecer estad铆sticamente a partir de los datos informados por los sujetos objeto de estudio, un an谩lisis riguroso que implic贸 el uso de software estad铆stico y de las fuentes secundarias de bases de datos especializadas; el an谩lisis estableci贸 que con l as estrategias pedag贸gicas que implementan los docentes de bachillerato y media de la Instituci贸n Educativa Nueva Uni贸n, tienen una relaci贸n directa con niveles de intensidad modera y alta y estad铆sticamente significativa.Pedagogical strategies and school dropout are social index phenomena that affect the educational community, hence the present study addressed the relationship between the pedagogical strategies implemented by high school and middle school teachers, and school dropout .
