El desarrollo del pensamiento matemático aleatorio en estadística con el uso del programa Excel en los estudiantes de 5to de primaria de la I.E.D.R. Pablo Herrera

El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como objetivo determinar una propuesta que desarrolle el pensamiento matemático aleatorio en estadística con el uso del programa Excel en los estudiantes de quinto grado de primaria de la Institución Educativa Departamental Rural Pablo Herrera de Cajicá – Colombia. Proyecto en el que se hace uso del modelo epistémico positivista aplicando la técnica de análisis cuantitativa y empleando el método hipotético deductivo, el cual como su nombre lo indica tiene como finalidad la comprobación de una hipótesis a partir de medios estadísticos, para delimitar y orientar la investigación. Cabe señalar que el tipo de investigación es explicativo y cuyo diseño es el modelo metodológico observacional o no experimental, tomando como referencia algunas ideas de los autores Sampierí y Jakelín Hurtado de Barrea. Para el desarrollo del proyecto investigativo se establecieron cuatro fases. En primer lugar la fase diagnóstica en la que se contextualizo la problemática, definiendo y concretando la idea, luego una fase preparatoria de fundamentación teórica, posteriormente la de diseño metodológico, donde se da la definición del alcance, variables, formulación de las hipótesis, selección de la muestra y elaboración del instrumento y por último la fase de análisis e interpretación de los resultados; se recolectan los datos y se analizan, en la que se encontró un alto porcentaje de desconocimiento sobre los procesos estadísticos por parte de los estudiantes y como ellos proyectan una buena interacción para el aprendizaje estadístico a través del programa Excel. Debido a ello se encuentra relación entre los bajos porcentajes de conocimiento y practicas estadísticas por parte de los estudiantes y las grandes ventajas que conlleva el uso del programa Excel para la enseñanza – aprendizaje. Es decir que Excel es un programa intuitivo, de fácil acceso, completo en el que los estudiantes podrán comprender y facilitar los procesos estadísticos, siendo Excel una herramienta TIC atractiva y eficaz.The present investigative work aims to determine a proposal that develops random mathematical thinking in statistics with the use of the Excel program in fifth grade students of the Pablo Herrera Rural Departmental Educational Institution in Cajicá - Colombia. Project in which the positivist epistemic model is used by applying the quantitative analysis technique and using the hypothetical deductive method, which, as its name indicates, has the purpose of testing a hypothesis from statistical means, to delimit and guide the research. It should be noted that the type of research is explanatory and whose design is the observational or non-experimental methodological model, taking as reference some ideas of the authors Sampierí and Jakelín Hurtado de Barrera. Four phases were established for the development of the research project. In the first place the diagnostic phase in which the problem was contextualized, defining and specifying the idea, then a preparatory phase of theoretical foundation, later the methodological design, where the definition of the scope, variables, formulation of hypotheses, selection of the sample and preparation of the instrument and finally the phase of analysis and interpretation of the results; The data are collected and analyzed, in which a high percentage of ignorance about the statistical processes was found by the students and how they project a good interaction for statistical learning through the Excel program. Due to this, there is a relationship between the low percentages of knowledge and practical statistics on the part of the students and the great advantages that the use of the Excel program for teaching - learning entails.
