    High PSNR Based Image Steganography

    In recent time, the Steganography technique is broadly used for the secret data communication. It’s an art of hiding the secret data in another objects like videos, images, videos, graphics and documents to gain the stego or steganographic object so which it’s not affected by the insertion. In this paper, we are introducing a new methodology in which security of stego-image increase by embedding even and odd part secret image into R, G, B plane of cover image using LSB and ISB technique. As we can see from the results session the value of PSNR , NCC are getting increase while the value of MSE is getting decrease

    A New Approach For Image Hiding Based On Contourlet Transform

    A new image hiding method based on the contourlet transform is proposed inthis paper. This strategy is based on storing information in high frequency subbands of contourlet transform. The embedding approach is in direction that the contourlet sub-bands have the least statistical disorder. As a result, the proposed algorithm has a higher robustness against to common steganalysis approaches. In addition, the quality of stegano image has considerably improved in comparison with related state of the art methods, with the extracted secret image having an acceptable quality. Furthermore, theexperimental results show robustness respect to Gaussian noise and otherattacks such as JPEG compression.DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/ijece.v2i5.143

    Steganography is the science of hiding a secret message in cover media, without any perceptual distortion of the cover media. Using steganography, information can be hidden in the carrier items such as images, videos, sounds files, text files, while performing data transmission. In image steganography field, it is a major concern of the researchers how to improve the capacity of hidden data into host image without causing any statistically significant modification. Therefore, this paper presents most of the recent works that have been conducted on image steganography field and analyzes them to clarify the strength and weakness points in each work separately in order to be taken in consideration for future works in such field.
