Policy Standardization Implementation Guarantying at the Private University in Semarang City
The purpose of this research is designed to describe and analyze the implementation of the quality assurance policy at a private college in the city of Semarang and the identification of those aspects that support and hinder the implementation of a quality assurance policy at a private University in the city of Semarang. As for specific targets to be achieved in the research is to formulate quality assurance policy implementation model for effective education (proposed model) and corresponding needs in supporting improved quality of education at Private Colleges in the city of Semarang. The study was designed with a qualitative research approach and use descriptive analysis. The analysis of the data collected is done after through interviews and observations directly in the field. Because it uses a qualitative approach then the data analysis processes in inductive data collection method in dept Interview, observation, documentation, and test the validity of library studies with data using two methods, namely the technique of triangulation and peer debriefing. The activity of this data analysis consists of, i.e., data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. To test the design quality assurance policy implementation model at a private college in the city of Semarang using consultation with experts guarantee quality (peer debriefing) for evaluation and improvement be alternative models. The next stage of the evaluation with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) by presenting a quality assurance team of experts from several universities to discuss alternative models these models are proposed so that/later can be implemented at private colleges. The location of the research done at Private Colleges include: Dian Nuswantoro University Semarang (UDINUS), Republic Indonesia Semarang Teachers Union University (UPGRIS), a high school computer (STEKOM), Indonesia Cruise Academy (AKPELNI), the maritime high school (STIMART) and site Quality Assurance Agency on research at the private University
Spacelab Data Processing Facility (SLDPF) quality assurance expert systems development
The Spacelab Data Processing Facility (SLDPF) is an integral part of the Space Shuttle data network for missions that involve attached scientific payloads. Expert system prototypes were developed to aid in the performance of the quality assurance function of the Spacelab and/or Attached Shuttle Payloads processed telemetry data. The Spacelab Input Processing System (SIPS) and the Spacelab Output Processing System (SOPS), two expert systems, were developed to determine their feasibility and potential in the quality assurance of processed telemetry data. The capabilities and performance of these systems are discussed
Quality Assurance System Between the Islamic State University and the State University
The purpose of this research is to compare the quality assurance system in the Islamic State University at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) of Malang and The State University at Technical Institute of Surabaya (Institut Teknik Surabaya/ITS). The findings concerning quality assurance system cover; the reasons for implementing the quality assurance, the core value of quality planning, the quality assurance of implementation, the quality assurance of evaluation, the supporting factor of the implementation of quality assurance, the quality assurance strategy, and the result of quality assurance. This study uses exploratory mixed method research design with the developmental model instrument. While the process of this research starts with collecting qualitative data, then the extreme finding is followed by collecting quantitative data, and the end of this process is interpreting data together. From the qualitative data, it can be concluded that there is a difference between quality assurance in UIN Malang and ITS. The quality assurance in the institution management (X), the academic aspect (Y), and customers\u27 satisfaction (Z) was significantly different (significantly) between UIN Malang and ITS. Customers\u27 satisfaction at UIN Malang is influenced by the quality of management and academic with a larger proportion than in ITS
Report on proposals for the development, harmonisation and quality assurance of organic data collection and processing systems (DCPS)
This report represents the conclusion of the European seminar on development, harmonisation and quality assurance of organic data collection and processing systems (Berlin, April 2004) as well as of the first phase of the EISFOM-project.
- In the first chapter the objectives and general approach of this workpackage are described.
- Chapter 2 focuses on quality assurance, the main results of WP2 and WP3 and the European Seminar in Berlin (see Recke et al. 2004; https://orgprints.org/2935/. Furthermore, the strengths and weaknesses of organic DCPS (data collection and processing systems) are analysed and the chapter closes with proposals for the development of organic DCPSs.
- Chapter 3 focuses on results of expert interviews on the main barriers for the implementation of improved organic statistical data collection and processing systems.
- Chapter 4 gives a summary and some general conclusions are drawn. This report provides perspectives on how the above mentioned issues of the European Action Plan might be implemented
Som Based Assurance Assessment for Information Security Management System in Organization
Information Security Management System (ISMS) has a lot of standards such as ISO/IEC 27001. In order to assess the quality assurance of ISMS, an organization should design and implement some mechanism. I propose a mechanism for quality assurance assessment using Kohonen's Self Organizing Map (SOM). SOM is a means for automatically arranging high-dimensional statistical data so that alike inputs are in general mapped close to each other. The resulting map avails itself readily to visualization, and thus the distance relations between different data items can be illustrated in an intuitive manner. This proposal shows that the proposed framework is able to be conducted and implemented. Through this map, the organization will be able to assess how far the organization's information security quality has gap with the standard. Not only ISMS ISO's standard, but also another standard such as Indonesian National Board of Accreditation (BAN-PT)
