Continuous Domains and Banach Spaces

AbstractThis article introduces a non-specialized audience to continuous domains and their use in analysis, focussing on Banach spaces. We discuss the examples of the interval domain as model for the real line and of the domain of balls as model for Banach spaces. Finally, we suggest an axiomatisation for Banach domains to fix a framework for a systematic investigation of domains modeling Banach spaces
