    Penerapan CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) sebagai media pembelajaran, digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada saat kegiatan proses pembelajaran. Pada umumnya Sekolah Menengah Pertama memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang kuat dan lebih menyenangi hal-hal yang menarik. CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis komputer di bangun sebagai pendukung kegiatan pembelajaran yang selama ini hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dan buku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran teknik dasar menendang bola dengan menggunakan penerapan CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) dan metodologi MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) dari Sutopo dengan tahapan concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Setelah selesai dibangun selanjutnya tahap pengujian fungsi fungsi media pembelajaran teknik dasar menendang bola yang dilakukan oleh pembuat dan lingkungan pembuatnya sendiri. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah media pembelajaran teknik dasar menendang bola untuk siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Parongpong menggunakan penerapan CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) dengan model simulasi.     Collaborative Learning and Knowledge Transfer in Consciousness Society

    Starting from the expression "workplace learning†which states that the use of personal computers at work or at school reflects learning activities and work activities which are interchangeable at individual level, this paper presents collaborative models dedicated to processes of teaching, learning, assessment and research in education. One of the most important activities is represented by computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) which, from its occurrence, presented a special interest for researchers in informatics. CSCL is based on human-computer interaction (HCI) and on computer supported cooperative work (CSCW). CSCL promotes in turn the development of computer supported collaborative research (CSCR). Information and communications technologies represent not only a media support but, most of all, a mean for accessing resources worldwide. The development of the information technology and of the information society brought benefits both to the traditional form of education, and to the distance education represented by the assisted instruction. The evolution of the information society led to the emergence of the society based on knowledge which represents an intermediary step between information society and consciousness society, who wants to be a moral society.     The Effect of Using Computer Technology Tools to Enhance the Teaching-Learning Process in CAD-CAM-CNC Module in Mechanical Engineering Subject Area

    This study presents the evaluation of Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) package included in the teaching and learning methodology of computer aided design- computer aided design - computer numerical control (CAD-CAM-CNC) module. Three groups of students with similar pre-abilities were exposed to three different teaching learning methodologies.The effectiveness of these three methods was determined by questionnaires completed by the students and collected by first author. Their answers were analysed quantitatively and qualitatively. The various categories used in the questionnaire was student’s attitudes towards learning CAD-CAM-CNC subjects, students’ opinions about their lecturers approaches to teaching process, students’ opinions and views about various aspects the CAD-CAM-CNC. The study concludes that the students taught with a combination of CAL package and traditional methods were more effective, efficient and satisfied with their learning experiences. So the proposed hybrid learning method (CAI plus traditional teaching method) is most suited for CAD-CAM-CNC teaching. Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) merupakan pengembangan daripada teknologi informasi terpadu yaitu komunikasi (interaktif), audio, video, penampilan citra (image) yang dikemas dengan sebutan teknologi multimedia. Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) mencakup penggunaan komputer yang berhubungan secara langsung dengan siswa maupun pendidik. Macromedia flash 8 merupakan software aplikasi komputer yang dapat mendukung siswa untuk berinteraksi dengan aktif dan dapat digunakan siswa sebagai media pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi geometri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Computer-Assisted Instruction(CAI) dan yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Banda Aceh Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 pada semester genap. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah True Eksperimental Design dengan desain Pre-test dan Post-test Control Group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Banda Aceh dan kelas VIII.1 serta VIII.2 sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara acak.Data diperoleh melalui hasil pre-test dan post-test hasil belajar siswa selama dilakukan penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik uji-t satu pihak yaitu pihak kanan pada taraf signifikan ? = 0.05 dan derajat kebebasan (dk) = 38. Berdasakan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh nilai thitung= 3,029 dan ttabel= 1,725 atau t_hitung> t_(tabel ) yaitu 3,029 > 1,725, hal ini berarti H_0 ditolak dan H_1 diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Computer-Assisted Instruction(CAI) lebih baik daripada yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional

    A Supplemental computer-assisted intervention to prevent early reading difficulties in spanish learners: a randomised controlled trial

    Difficulties implementing effective instruction for at-risk students arise from two challenges: evidence-based knowledge transfer and lack of economic resources. Computer-assisted programs can offer a suitable solution, providing quality instruction with low cost resources. Thirty first grade students with learning difficulties were identified and paired on at least four pretest reading measures (reading efficiency of monosyllabic and disyllabic items, words, pseudowords, and texts). Each pair was assigned to two different intervention programs: a computer-assisted instructional program (CAP) focused on developing phonological route versus to the Spanish public school assistance services (AS). Computer-assisted instruction consisted of four individual 12-15 minute sessions per week focused on syllable decoding plus a collective comprehension session per week of 1 hour. CAP was delivered by university students. The assistance services typically consisted of one hour per week, individually or in small groups, delivered by trained teachers. Both programs were applied during eleven weeks. 9 of 15 subjects from the AS condition showed resistance to treatment, while only 5 of 15 subjects were treatment resisters on the CAP condition.Universidad de Málaga.     The Effectiveness of Computer-Assisted Instruction in Developmental Mathematics

    This quasiexperimental study compared academic performance of students enrolled in a developmental mathematics course using traditional instruction (i.e., lecture) and traditional instruction supplemented with computer-assisted instruction. In addition, gender differences in mathematical performance were also investigated. There was no statistically significant difference in the posttest scores of students receiving traditional instruction and traditional instruction supplemented with computer-assisted instruction. There was a significant difference in the posttest scores of females and males, with females outperforming males in both modes of instruction

    PENGARUH PENERAPAN COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SMP PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA

    Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai penerapan Computer Assisted Instruction yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang melakukan pembelajaran fisika dengan menerapkan Computer Assisted Instruction dan siswa yang melakukan pembelajaran fisika dengan metode konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMP negeri di Kota Bandung dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 33 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 35 siswa kelas kontrol. Data penelitiaan berupa nilai pretest dan posttest didapatkan dengan menggunakan soal tipe pilihan ganda. Setelah data penelitian berupa nilai gain diuji dengan menggunakan uji U Mann Whitney, didapatkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan nilai prestasi belajar yang signfikan antara siswa yang mempelajari fisika dengan menerapkan Computer Assisted Instruction dan siswa yang mempelajari fisika dengan metode konvensional. Analisis lebih lanjut, berdasarkan nilai gain ternormalisasi rata-rata, peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan siswa pada kelas kontrol. Siswa juga memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran fisika yang menerapkan Computer Assisted Instruction A research had been done about application of Computer Assisted Instruction to know whether there is a significant difference on achievement of students who study physics by Computer Assisted Instruction and students who study physics by conventional methode. The research methode is quasi experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. This research was done in one of junior high school in Bandung City. The number of sample is 33 students as experimental class and 35 students as control class. As research data, pretest and posttest scores are gotten by using multiple choice questions. After the gain data is tested by Mann Whitney U Test. It shows that there is no significant difference on achievement between students who study physics by Computer Assisted Instruction and students who study physics by conventional method. Futher analysis shows, according to average normalized gain, achievement improvement of the experimental class is higher than the class control. Students also give positive respon to the physics learning by using Computer Assisted Instruction
