Coming out of the woodwork

‘Coming Out of the Woodwork’ was a curatorial and installation art project, bringing together three artsits (Mark Selby, Richard Cramp and Joe Watling) who similarly identify with the exploration of architectural space in its formation and perception as a key component to their practice. The gallery space and its associated architecture, was entirely reformed through a series of installations and constructions. Each artist approaches new ways of engaging the viewer beyond a ‘static’ looking experience; encouraging the physicality of experience through their work. An accompanying publication and website was produced alongside the exhibition

Pengalaman Proses Coming Out Transgender Pada Keluarga Dan Lingkungan

Individu transgender tentunya memiliki pengalaman yang berbeda-beda mengenai proses pengakuan dirinya (coming out) pada keluarga dan lingkungan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman proses coming out terhadap keluarga dan lingkungan yang terjadi pada individu transgender. Coming out adalah proses memberikan pemahaman kepada diri sendiri, kemudian kepada orang lain mengenai perasaan sebagai transgender atau cross-gender. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah tiga orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan IPA (Interpretative Phenomenologycal Analysis). Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan proses wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik IPA yang digambarkan sebagai siklus interaktif dan deduktif yang meliputi beberapa proses. Hasil dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengalaman transgender sebagai proses yang penuh konflik sebelum sampai kepada coming out yang disampaikan dalam dua cara, yaitu dalam bentuk verbal (ucapan) maupun non-verbal (transisi). Keberhasilan coming out pun memiliki dampak pada perasaan dan emosi subjek. Pengalaman yang unik setiap individu dilihat dari bagaimana cara subjek melakukan coming out pada lingkungan dan keluarga. Selain menjadi sumbangsih bagi minimnya teori mengenai coming out pada transgender, hasil ini akan berpengaruh pada kejelasan perkembangan identitas transgender di dalam budaya Indonesia

This paper presents a short historical overview of Montenegrin parliamentarism and activities in connection with the Library of the Parliament of Montenegro since its establishment in 1953. An emphasis is placed on the need to bring this library up-to-date and to turn it into a modern parliamentary library. The status of the library within its parent organization, the Parliament of Montenegro, is analyzed, as well as the library collections (acquisition policy and organization), user profile, use and nonuse of sources and services, and staffing.
