Methods to improve regeneration efficiency in AC electrified railways

This thesis is contributed to improve the energy matters of an electrified rail transit system. In the research works subject of this thesis, the key achievements are to increase efficiency of the energy recovery up to 22% by using two novel methods that are proposed to optimize regeneration.<br /
