Adicionalmente, surge ainda a
No âmbito desta
experimental. With new European targets being proposed and the world population increasing, the energy
demand has never been higher and with a tendency to continue to increase. In this context,
renewable energy sources are included, which, in addition to a complement to the energy
need, are an increasingly promising reality, helping to fill energy gaps in remote places in the
world and contributing to a more energy-sustainable planet. Despite being a very attractive
solution, they cannot solve the energy problem alone due to their intermittent energy
production, and it is often necessary to combine different types of renewable energies to
increase the production timeline. Additionally, there is still a need for energy storage systems
that allow storing and supplying according to the production and needs of the electricity grid.
In the scope of this dissertation, photovoltaic solar energy was considered, which, in addition
to having great potential on Earth due to its light source, is also the most powerful source of
energy that allows space exploration and is therefore widely explored.
Thus, this dissertation presents the study of two types of DC Interleaved DC converters for
later use in a DC grid. Initially, a boost for interfacing with photovoltaic solar panels is
presented, allowing a unidirectional flow of energy and whose control aims to obtain the
maximum power of the panel, followed by a buck boost for interfacing with batteries, allowing
the bidirectional flow of energy, and whose control allows their loading and unloading. This
dissertation includes a bibliographic study on photovoltaic solar technology, DC-DC
converters, and on possible control possibilities. The validation was carried out, initially using
computer simulations, both at the level of the converters and the unknown animals.
Subsequently, a laboratory of an interleaved DC-DC converter was developed, controlled by a
DSP and its experimental validation was carried out
