    The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to know reading and writing through the beginning of Analytical methods Synthetic Structures in TK N Pembina Cawas and improve the quality of learning, especially in raising familiar with reading and writing skills beginning in Kindergarten Lesson N Pembina Cawas Year 2011/2012. Form of research is classroom action research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on these results we can conclude that the application of the analytic structure of the synthetic method (SAS) can improve the ability to know reading and writing at the beginning of kindergarten children in group B2 N Pembina Cawas Lessons Year 2011/2012.     This study aims to improve the reading skills through the medium of flash cards beginning at age group 5-6 years in early childhood Rainbow Warriors Kubu Raya district. The research method used was Classroom Action Research method of learning centers, centers that researchers use is the center of preparation. The subjects were 28 in total consists of 14 children boy and 14 girl. The results of data analysis showed that there was a general increase in the learning plan in Beginning Reading Upgrades Through Media flash cards In Age Group 5-6 Years In early childhood Rainbow Warriors Kubu Raya District, however advised the teachers should teach beginning reading should be done by fun and adjusted based on the stage of the age or ability of the child so that the child live in a state of happy and not depressed.     Increasing of beginning reading ability by flashcard at the learning Indonesian Language subject. The research to purpose for increasing of beginning reading ability by using flashcard of learning Indonesian Language at the first year SDN 07 Angkasa. The research by using of the descriptive method with form action research. The subject of research is student of the first year SDN 07 Angkasa the number of ten persons. Based on the result of analysis data, average of beginning reading ability, the student have increased from the first cycle (average result from 52 become 84; classical mastery from 40% become 100%). This case mean that by using flashcard of beginning reading ability of the student the first year SDN 07 Angkasa Kecamatan Sanggau Ledo Kabupaten Bengkayang of Academic Year 2012/2013

    This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of early reading learning in first grade, and supporting and inhibiting factors in the beginning reading learning in first grade of elementary school in Gugus Bima UPTD Dikpora Serengan Sub district of Surakarta City. The type of this research is qualitative research with ethnography design. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, observation and documentation. The technique of data analysis is done interactively. The results of this study on the management of early reading learning indicate: 1) Learning planning used as a reference in the implementation of early reading learning by teachers include syllabus, annual program, semester program, and lesson plan. 2) Implementation of beginning reading learning in first grade is done by applying the methods of learning that tend to be conventional lecture method. 3) Beginning reading learning evaluation by applying test and non-test assessments to measure students' reading ability level which is done continually and continuously by teachers. 4) Supporting factors in beginning reading learning in Gugus Bima UPTD Dikpora Serengan Sub district of Surakarta City are: (1) availability of adequate library, (2) teachers motivate students to read, (3) teachers use an interesting learning process. Constraints experienced by teachers in beginning reading learning includes: too many students, limited time resulting in material that has been determined can not be conveyed properly and effectively, lack of teachers' ability to apply more creative and innovative learning methods, the lack of attention of parents to the education of children, the value of student input is low, and facilities are minimal

    Reading comprehension of czech pupils at the beginning of primary school: comparison betweenanalytic-synthetic and genetic methods

    In Czech schools two teaching methods of reading are used: the analytic-synthetic (conventional) and genetic (created in the 1990s). They differ in theoretical foundations and in methodology. The aim of this paper is to describe the above mentioned theoretical approaches and present the results of study that followed the differences in the development of initial reading skills between these methods. A total of 452 first grade children (age 6-8) were assessed by a battery of reading tests at the beginning and at the end of the first grade and at the beginning of the second grade. 350 pupils participated all three times. Based on data analysis the developmental dynamics of reading skills in both methods and the main differences in several aspects of reading abilities (e.g. the speed of reading, reading technique, error rate in reading) are described. The main focus is on the reading comprehension development. Results show that pupils instructed using genetic approach scored significantly better on used reading comprehension tests, especially in the first grade. Statistically significant differences occurred between classes independently of each method. Therefore, other factors such as teacher´s role and class composition are discussed
