Systèmes de contrôle, culture et ethnicité : Introduction d'un concept pour la compréhension de la diversité.

A l’heure du management de la diversité dans les organisations, les modèles d’analyse des cultures proposés par Hofstede, Douglas et Wildawsky et d’Iribarne ne s’avèrent plus suffisants. S’appuyant sur la critique que fait Baskerville (2003, 2005) de ces modèles le présent article vise à offrir un cadre conceptuel pour la compréhension de la diversité fondé sur l’ethnicité. Pour cela, il offre une revue de littérature critique des travaux en contrôle de gestion utilisant l’ethnicité comme concept et l’ethnie comme unité d’analyse afin d’en présenter les apports. La contribution de cet article consiste en la présentation conceptuelle, empirique et méthodologique de l’ethnicité comme alternative opérationnelle à la culture si difficile à appréhender en sciences de gestion.When diversity management becomes an issue for organisations, models offered by Hofstede, Douglas and Wildawsky or d’Iribarne fail to help understand what culture means. Therefore, this paper draws on Barkerville’s (2003, 2005) critique on these models to erect an ethnicity-based conceptual framework directed at understanding diversity. Heuristically, it offers a critical review of the management accounting littérature using ethnicity as a concept and ethnic groups as a unit for diversity analysis and introduces the contributions of such studies. Autoethnographie de la pandémie de COVID-19 à Madagascar et perspectives d’actions pour l’église locale

Hospitalisé pour COVID-19 en début de la pandémie à Madagascar (mars 2020), l’auteur rapporte dans cet article sous un aspect autoethnographique le vécu du groupe de personnes diagnostiquées par PCR au service de Maladies Infectieuses du CHU Joseph RASETA Befelatanana, Antananarivo Madagascar. L’objectif de cette étude est de tirer des moyens de vivre positivement avec le coronavirus. Etant passés par l’incompréhension, les sentiments d’irresponsabilité, de culpabilité, de punition, d’emprisonnement, d’impureté, la durée d’hospitalisation est perçue comme très longue d’autant plus injuste car ils ont été retenus même après absence de symptômes. Aumônier malgré lui dans cette expérience, comme l’auteur est à la fois médecin et pasteur, sa réflexion mène à des perspectives d’actions qui engagent l’église locale à Madagascar. The Recent History and Current State of Autoethnography in Germany: A Literature Review

Im deutschsprachigen Raum wird die Methode der Autoethnografie kritischer gesehen und ist signifikant weniger etabliert als im englischsprachigen Raum. Auch wurde deren Entwicklung nur punktuell reflektiert worden: Es gibt keinen breiten Überblick zur Entwicklung autoethnografischer Praxis in Deutschland. In meinem Essay beziehe ich mich auf autoethnografische Publikationen von Forscher*innen mit Bindungen an deutsche Universitäten. Ich habe 97 explizit autoethnografische Texte analysiert, geschrieben in deutscher oder englischer Sprache, die zwischen 2007, dem Erscheinungsjahr des frühesten gefundenen Textes und 2024 veröffentlicht wurden. In meiner Literaturübersicht finden sich Texte u.a. aus den Bereichen Kunst, Soziologie, Anthropologie, Geografie, Gesundheitswissenschaften und Pädagogik. Ich identifiziere die hauptsächlichen Charakteristika und Ziele dieser Texte. Durch den Vergleich mit der Entwicklung der Autoethnografie in Spanien und in den Vereinigten Staaten zeige ich die Besonderheiten der autoethnografischen Praxis im deutschen Kontext auf.In German-speaking countries, autoethnography is viewed more critically and is less established than in English-speaking countries. The development of autoethnographic research in German-speaking countries has also only been reflected upon selectively. In my essay, I offer a broad overview of the development of autoethnographic practices by researchers at German universities. I have analyzed 97 explicitly autoethnographic texts published between 2007, the year of the earliest text I found, and 2024. I reviewed autoethnographies written in English and German from a range of disciplines, including art, sociology, religion, anthropology, geography, health sciences, and education. As part of my analysis, I identify the main characteristics and purposes of autoethnography in Germany. Through a comparison of the development of autoethnography in Spain and in the United States, I draw attention to the particularities of its use in Germany

Autoethnographie und Volkskunde? Zur Relevanz wissenschaftlicher Selbsterzählungen für die volkskundlich-kulturanthropologische Forschungspraxis

This paper deals with the relevance of autoethnography for Volkskunde/cultural anthropology. It points out some connections between autoethnography and research principles of Volkskunde/cultural anthropology and tries to specify the term for future use in the field. Based on a discussion of major points of criticism, the authors call for a critically-reflexive but also courageous use of autoethnography in research and teaching.Dieser Beitrag widmet sich der Relevanz der Autoethnographie für die volkskundlich-kulturanthropologische Forschung und schärft dabei den Begriff für die weitere Verwendung im Fach. Er zeigt, wie die Autoethnographie an einige Grundüberzeugungen, die in der volkskundlich- kulturanthropologischen Forschung vertreten werden, anknüpfen kann. Auf Basis einer Auseinandersetzung mit Kritikpunkten an der Methode, insbesondere aus Sicht der Volkskunde/Kulturanthropologie, plädiert er für einen kritisch-reflektierten aber auch mutigen Einsatz der Autoethnographie in Forschung und Lehre
