    My research are focused on combinatorial image processing. My approach is to propose mathematical models to abstract physical reality. This abstraction allows to define new techniques leading to original solutions for some problems. In this context, I propose a topological model of image, regions segmentation based on statistical criteria and combinatorial algorithms, and a bound representation based on combinatorial maps.Mes travaux de recherche sont basĂ©s sur une approche combinatoire et discrĂšte de l’imagerie. Ma dĂ©marche est de proposer des dĂ©finitions de modĂšles mathĂ©matiques fournissant une abstraction de la rĂ©alitĂ© physique, cette abstraction permettant de dĂ©finir des nouvelles techniques amenant des solutions originales Ă  des problĂšmes posĂ©s.     Enacting Inquiry Learning in Mathematics through History

    International audienceWe explain how history of mathematics can function as a means for enacting inquiry learning activities in mathematics as a scientific subject. It will be discussed how students develop informed conception about i) the epistemology of mathematics, ii) of how mathematicians produce mathematical knowledge, and iii) what kind of questions that drive mathematical research. We give examples from the mathematics education at Roskilde University and we show how (teacher) students from this program are themselves capable of using history to establish inquiry learning environments in mathematics in high school. The realization is argued for in the context of an explicit-reflective framework in the sense of Abd-El-Khalick (2013) and his work in science education
