Women's Ijtihad and Lady Amin's Islamic ethics on womanhood and motherhood

Women's position, identity, and value in Islam have been affected by androcentric interpretations of the Qur'an and hadith throughout Islamic history. Women's roles in society, as well as their position vis-a-vis Islamic sources and authority, have been shaped by these interpretations. In Shi'a Islam, due to the majority male clergy's resistance, women have rarely reached the highest loci of Shi'i authority and jurisprudence. However, there have been women scholars who have transgressed these normative frameworks. Lady Amin, who was one of the most prominent Iranian theologians of the 19th and 20th centuries, is a notable example. Lady Amin had great knowledge of jurisprudence and gained the status of mujtahida at the age of forty. Her scholarly work addressed not only interpretations of the Qur'an and hadith, but also women's issues and gender politics of her time. This study addresses women's ijtihad in Shi'a Islam and investigates Lady Amin's teachings on the topics of womanhood and motherhood. This study focuses on Lady Amin's book of Islamic ethics, titled Ways of Happiness: Suggestions for Faithful Sisters, written as a Shi'i source of guidance with a specific focus on women and gender in Shi'a Islam

On the vertex corrections in antiferromagnetic spin fluctuation theories

We argue that recent calculations by Amin and Stamp (PRL 77, 301 (1996); cond-mat/9601086) overestimate the strength of the vertex corrections in the spin-fermion model for cuprates. We clarify the physical origin of the apparent discrepancy between their results and earlier calculations. On Deformations of n-Lie algebras

The aim of this paper is to review the deformation theory of $n$-Lie algebras. We summarize the 1-parameter formal deformation theory and provide a generalized approach using any unital commutative associative algebra as a deformation base. Sustainable human development: bi’ah salihah index in Al-Amin education system

This paper presents spriritual component of the sustainable human development and a study had been made in Al-Amin education system. The salihah environment or bi’ah salihah index is proposed to measure the level of spiritualilty attained by the main stakeholders in Al-Amin schools. This paper takes the inspiration from few verses in the Holy Quran to develop items that can be used to measure the spiritual component of human development sustainability. The spirituality constitute of the faith (belief) and practice (actions) components. The bi’ah salihah index is then computed by taking the average of the mean from faith and practice of the students, teachers and parents (mean of the practice only)

2014 REU Poster: Quantifying Lipid Contents In Liposomes with Enveloped Plasmonic Nanoparticles

We learn the binding infinity of PS and GM1 lipid by using gold nanoparticle (GNP) since it is stable and conductive. Besides, changing concentration of lipid on the virus can control how the virus infective. The performed studies can use identify unknown concentration of lipid.NSF-RE

i ABSTRAK Skripsi ini merupakan hasil penelitian tentang Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak terhadap Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Dasar Anak Terlantar di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Al Amin Kota Bandung. Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak merupakan upaya yang terarah, terpadu dan berkelanjutan guna memenuhi kebutuhan dasar yang meliputi bantuan pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar, aksesibilitas pelayanan sosial dasar, peningkatan potensi diri dan kreatifitas anak, penguatan orang tua. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Al Amin Kota Bandung. Mengetahui pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar anak terlantar di Panti Asuhan Al Amin Kota Bandung. Dan mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar anak terlantar di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Al Amin Kota Bandung. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah “Ada Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak terhadap Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Dasar Anak Terlantar di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Al Amin Kota Bandung”. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Analisis yaitu cara menggambarkan atau melukiskan tentang fakta dan gejala-gejala saat penelitian dilaksanakan, dengan upaya pengumpulan data secara aktual kemudian dianalisis untuk disimpulkan sehingga dapat disusun dalam bentuk skripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah, dengan cara: 1. Studi dokumentasi 2. Studi lapangan, dengan teknik-teknik: a. Observasi non partisipan b. Wawancara c. Angket Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah anak terlantar yang dibina oleh Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak sebanyak 42 anak dan Kelompok kontrolnya anak terlantar yang tidak mendapatkan program Pelayanan Sosialdi kota bandung sejumlah 42 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling. Skala dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala ordinal. Untuk pengujian hipotesis digunakan uji statistik non parametik dengan menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukanadanya pengaruh pelaksanaan Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial AnakAl-Amin terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar anak terlantar yang ada di sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa Program Pelayanan Sosial di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial AnakAl-Amin ini memberikan efek atau pengaruh terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar anak terlantar yang ada Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak meskipun tidak terdapat pengaruh di bagian sub hipotesis perlindungan dan kasih sayang, perlindungan dan dorongan tetapi secara keseluruhan Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak memberikan pengaruh positif dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar anak terlantar

Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kekalahan M.amin dan M. Shaleh dalam Pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kampar Periode 2017-2022

Elections are the means to carry out the people's sovereignty is based on the principle of direct, public, free and confidential, and honest and fair. Political stability is essential to facilitate the implementation of development, a safe, fair, and open election process. The result of voting by all citizens, which is expected to deliver the nation to a clean and authoritative, peaceful and prosperous government. Couples M. Amin and M. Shaleh is one of the candidate pairs who participated in the election of Kampar Regency Head of 2017-2022 period who got the sequence one. However, in the election of the head of the region M. Amin and M. Shaleh lost and only got the order to 4 out of five pairs of candidates who participated in the election. However, the defeat suffered by M. Amin and M. Shaleh is not the end of any struggle in helping and building up of Kampar Regency society. let alone M. Amin known by a successful entrepreneur and also served as chairman of Apindo (Indonesian Employers Association) Kampar regency. of course M. Amin has an important role in economic affairs in Kampar. The base of support consists of the basis of political parties, cultural bases and social bases and also diliat from political strategy that is political communication, political marketing and the capability of successful teams with the aim to win the couple M.Amin and M, Shaleh not run optimally
