Pemberian Endorphin Massage Mempengaruhi Kesiapan Psikologi Ibu Hamil Tm III Dalam Menghadapi Persalinan Di Bpm Nwb Kintamani
Pregnancy is the process by which the crisis will end with the birth of a baby. A woman in pregnancy will undergo many changes, both physical changes and psychological changes. TM III in pregnancy anxiety usually increases so that the mother can affect the psychological readiness of mother in the face of labor. The massage method is useful for reducing endorphins that relieve pain and even help pregnant women to be relaxed in pregnancies. Issues raised in this study is whether there Endorphin Effect Of Massage Pregnancy Trimester Psychological Readiness III in the face of labor in Independent Practice Midwife NWB, Kintamani.
This study uses a pre-experimental design with one group pre test and post test design with a prospective approach. Subjects in the study were pregnant women who met the inclusion criteria. The sampling used was purposive sampling with total number of respondents 36 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire containing 25 questions about the items Endorphin Effect Of Massage Pregnancy Trimester Psychological Readiness III in the face of Labor.
The results of statistical tests showed no significant effect on the readiness of psychology massage endorphin third trimester pregnant women in labor with a face value of p value of 0.000 and α = 0.05.
Conclusions can be drawn that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted means there Endorphin Effect Of Massage Pregnancy Trimester Psychological Readiness III in the face of labor in Independent Practice Midwife NWB, Kintamani. From the above results can be recommended to pregnant women in particular are expected to provide an understanding of the importance of endorphin in pregnancy massage and massage endorphin motivation to perform at home
Effect of Dietary Levels of Decorticated Cow Pea (Vigna unguiculata) Supplemented with Molasses on Broiler Chicks Performance
This study was conducted to determine the effect of different level of
dietary decorticated cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) seeds supplemented with
molasses on broiler performance. A total of 240 unsexed one-day old broiler
chicks (Ross 308) were used .The birds were randomly divided into six equal
groups, with 8 replicates each(5 birds/ replicate) in a completely randomized
design with factorial arrangement. Six experimental diets (each starter and
finisher) were formulated to be approximately isocaloric and isonitrogenous to
meet the nutrient requirements for broiler chicks. Three levels (0 %, 10 %, and
20 %) of cowpea with two levels of molasses 0%, 3% . were used. The feed
and water were provided ad libitum. Feed intake and body weight were
recorded weekly. The experiment lasted for 6 weeks. The results showed that
the inclusion of decorticated cowpea seed at 10 % or 20% without molasses
significantly (P<0.05) improved final body weight and total weight gain at
finishing period, whereas the addition of molasses at 3% significantly
decreased final body weight and total feed intake. The inclusion of 10%
cowpea in the diets significantly improved feed conversion ratio and protein
efficiency ratio, compared with control. Inclusion of 10 % and 20%
decorticated cowpea in the diets without molasses were significantly (P<0.05)
better than other treatment
Kick-start workshop on improved food crops marketing through appropriate transport for poor farmers in Uganda
The United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID) Crop Post-Harvest Programme started to fund the first phase of the project on "Improved Food Crops Marketing through Appropriate Transport for Poor Farmers in Uganda" in April 2002. Subject to the results of a review by March 2003, the project may be extended on terms to be agreed on.
The project purpose is to develop and promote strategies that will improve food security of poor households through increased availability and improved quality of food and better access to markets.
The main outputs of the project are:
a) Baseline study,
b) Validated technology for IMTs,
c) Promotional material.
The outputs of this project will enhance the understanding of issues related to rural transport in Uganda, such as needs for intermediate means of transportation, constraints to up-take, and potential implications of improved transport for the farming system. Means of transportation will be tested and validated and the recommendations consequently developed will be presented to private sector associations, Government bodies (relevant Ministries), and National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO), the donor community, non-government Organisations (NGOs), and relevant Networks. Their uptake will lead to an improvement of poor fanners' livelihoods
Logarithmic degenerations of Landau-Ginzburg models for toric orbifolds and global tt^* geometry
We discuss the behavior of Landau-Ginzburg models for toric orbifolds near
the large volume limit. This enables us to express mirror symmetry as an
isomorphism of Frobenius manifolds which aquire logarithmic poles along a
boundary divisor. If the toric orbifold admits a crepant resolution we
construct a global moduli space on the B-side and show that the associated
tt^*-geometry exists globally.Comment: 40 page
Community access to marketing opportunities: options for remote areas in Sub-Saharan Africa. Literature review (NRI report no. 2459)
The goal of this project is "to provide guidance for policy makers by establishing a complete picture of market access related issues and the options available, with special emphasis on institutional issues." There is general recognition of the role that improved market access can play in enhancing rural development and poverty reduction, though there is limited information on the extent and nature of the problem and of options for developing appropriate mechanisms to enable rural communities to take advantage of market opportunities. The focus of the project is on remote communities in sub-Saharan Africa, though experiences from around the world will be drawn upon to deepen understanding and provide approaches to overcoming constraints. This first activity of the project aims to identify the key issues and experiences relating to community access to market opportunities by way of literature review. A draft of the report was produced in August 1998 as the first project output. The current version incorporates comments received on the draft plus some additional references obtained prior and during project work in Malawi, Mali, and Uganda
