Technology Of MIG-MAG Welds Strength Enhancement
A new technology of MIG MAG welding control is developed. Authors introduce use of power AC and pulse feed of welding wire in the arc zone, that downsizes the heat affected zone, stabilizes formation of electrode metal droplets, as external magnetic field's effect on the arc is reduced. Principal criteria for electrode metal transfer control, when powered by AC sources, are specified

AE regularity of interval matrices
Consider a linear system of equations with interval coefficients, and each
interval coefficient is associated with either a universal or an existential
quantifier. The AE solution set and AE solvability of the system is defined by
-quantification.
Herein, we deal with the problem what properties must the coefficient matrix
have in order that there is guaranteed an existence of an AE solution. Based on
this motivation, we introduce a concept of AE regularity, which implies that
the AE solution set is nonempty and the system is AE solvable for every
right-hand side. We discuss characterization of AE regularity, and we also
focus on various classes of matrices that are implicitly AE regular. Some of
these classes are polynomially decidable, and therefore give an efficient way
for checking AE regularity. We also state open problems related to
computational complexity and characterization
Economic Contribution of the Agricultural Sector to the Arkansas Economy in 2009
This report is the sixth in a series of reports examining agriculture’s economic contribution on the Arkansas economy. Utilizing data from the United States Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), USDA Economic Research Service (ERS), USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), and Minnesota IMPLAN Group, Inc. (MIG), the economic contribution of agriculture on the Arkansas economy was estimated for the most recent year available, 2009. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by State information for Arkansas in 2009 was compared with those of other states in the southeast U.S. to give a measure of the relative importance of agriculture in Arkansas.2 The total economic contribution of agriculture (direct, indirect, and induced effects) on value added, employment, and labor income was estimated by employing the Impact Analysis for Planning System (IMPLAN). The economic contributions of agricultural production and processing were estimated for agriculture as a whole and also separately for the Crops Sector, the Animal Agriculture Sector, and the Forestry Sector
Large-signal model of the Metal-Insulator-Graphene diode targeting RF applications
We present a circuit-design compatible large-signal compact model of
metal-insulator-graphene (MIG) diodes for describing its dynamic response for
the first time. The model essentially consists of a voltage-dependent diode
intrinsic capacitance coupled with a static voltage-dependent current source,
the latter accounts for the vertical electron transport from/towards graphene,
which has been modeled by means of the Dirac-thermionic electron transport
theory through the insulator barrier. Importantly, the image force effect has
been found to play a key role in determining the barrier height, so it has been
incorporated into the model accordingly. The resulting model has been
implemented in Verilog A to be used in existing circuit simulators and
benchmarked against an experimental 6-nm TiO2 barrier MIG diode working as a
power detector.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures, 1 tabl
