A Modified Ant-Based Approach to Edge Detection

It is based oil the distribution of ants oil an image. Ants try to Find possible edges by using a heuristic function based oil 3x3 ideal edge structures. Visual comparisons show that the modified algorithm gives finer details and thinner edges at lesser computational times when compared to earlier ant-based approaches.
