    Extended enterprise architecture with the FADEE.

    Business-to-Business integration (B2Bi) is considered to be not merely an IT-issue, but also a business problem. This paper draws attention to the challenges companies within an Extended Enterprise are confronted with when integrating their systems. We primarily pay attention to coordination problems that may arise. To overcome these problems we propose the use of Enterprise Architecture descriptions. We discuss the powers of using Enterprise Architecture descriptions in integration exercises. It will become clear that doing Enterprise Architecture is no longer an option; it is mandatory. Furthermore, we present the FADEE, the Framework for the Architectural Description of the Extended Enterprise.     Sebagai Perusahaan, PDAM bertanggung jawab memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada pelanggan. Proses pelayanan pelanggan mencakup registrasi pelanggan, pencatatan angka meter, pengaduan pelanggan, pengajuan Perubahan pelanggan, pembayaran rekening, monitoring jaringan pipa, pemeliharaan meter air sampai monitoring penerimaan dan tunggakan. Karena pertukaran data melibatkan bagian-bagian yang ada, maka perlu dibangun suatu integrator services yang mengintegrasikan semua aplikasi dan data. Untuk realisasi pengembangan Customer Services Information System dalam skala enterprise, maka terlebih dahulu harus dirancang Enterprise Architecture berdasarkan proses bisnis yang dimiliki PDAM terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka kerja Zachman sebagai acuan perancangan karena memiliki berbagai perspektif, yaitu: planner, owner, designer, builder, implementer dan worker.     One of the components of enterprise architecture (EA) is information architecture (IA), which has three elements, those are people, process, and technology. The research was conducted using the variables on the process elements involving people and technology elements. This research discusses the designing of information architecture model of vocational training process at the Balai Besar Pengembangan Latihan Kerja Dalam Negeri (BBPLKDN) Bandung. Stages of the research are using qualitative approach method. COBIT 5 and TOGAF framework are used as the references during the analysis and designing. The analysis tool used is the consolidation of BSC and CSF. Validation of the research result is done by triangulation method to the theory, vocational training regulatory/policy, and the BBPLKDN Bandung need. The conclusion from this research is that the information architecture model of vocational training process in BBPLKDN Bandung is affected by elements of people, process, and technology in the scope of enterprise architecture, with reference to the results of BSC and CSF consolidation

    Perkembangan bisnis yang disertai dengan adanya teknologi informasi merupakan suatu hal penting bagi Perusahaan untuk membuka peluang bisnis yang baru. PQR merupakan salah satu situs yang bergerak pada peluang bisnis E-Commerce, PQR berada dibawah kepemilikan PT. XYZ. Sesuai dengan motto PQR yaitu memberikan layanan E-Commerce dengan menawarkan Kenyamanan, kemudahan, serta keamanan dalam berbelanja produk-produk yang dijual secara elektronik. PQR memiliki aktivitas front-end dan back-end yang mendukung berjalannya suatu E-Commerce. Salah satu aktivitas back-end yang membantu menghasilkan pendapatan terbesar PQR adalah payment. Payment merupakan serangkaian aktivitas yang dimulai pada saat customer melakukan pembayaran sampai hasil pembayaran tersebut diterima oleh PQR dan pengiriman pembayaran produk kepada merchant (settlement). Untuk meningkatkan pelayanan payment terhadap customer, PQR mengembangkan sistem payment sebagai pendukung utama proses bisnis, serta membidik peluang sumber pendapatan baru bagi PQR. Sebelum melakukan pengembangan sistem payment yang tepat, perlu dilakukan perencanaan dan perancangan enterprise architecture. Enterprise architecture merupakan kegiatan perancangan arsitektur untuk mendukung proses bisnis PQR dengan memanfaatkan pengorganisasian berbagai arsitektur. Duties, powers and responsibilities of this company is to manage the public ports in seven provinces in Indonesia. PT. Pelindo III has a vision "To be the perpetrator prime harbor service provider, is committed to spur national logistics integration". The company uses information systems and information technology (IS/IT), today the development of the IS/IT companies to only fixed requirements of this moment can be seen from the development of the IS/IT to meet the demand of the concerned division, not based on the vision, mission and goals of the implementation of IS/IT. PT. Pelindo III have adequate IT infrastructure but are not used efficiently, the impact occurs the gap between IT and SI because it is not clear how the selection process and management of IT infrastructure. However, locally project focused agile practices overlook the need for holistic enterprise architecture. Lack of enterprise architecture in agile, especially in the large agile environments, may lead to a number of problems such as technical debt, unnecessary re-work, inconsistent communication, locally focused isolated architecture, design and implementation. There is a missing link between the enterprise architecture and agile development. Enterprise architecture is a strategic capability that should enable and enhance agility of agile development. However, organisations are not sure how best to approach strategic enterprise architecture capability for supporting agile development.
