Abstract

Landscapes of Home and Maps of the Heart: Using Art to Understand the Meaning of Home for First and Second Generation Immigrants in Worcester. How do first- and second-generation immigrant residents of Worcester understand the meaning of home? Through in-depth interviews with participants from diverse communities, Sophie is creating a portrait installation inspired by their responses, along with a graphic novel documenting the process
