AN EVALUATION METHOD OF BUCKLING STRENGTH WITH LAMINATED VENEER LUMBER OF JAPANESE LARCH

Abstract

In our past study, we conducted compression tests with laminated veneer lumber of Japanese Larch and we could evaluate the bucking strength with Euler\u27s equation and Tetmajer\u27s method. For structural design we should modify or improve that method.In this study, we would compare that some calculated values from different methods. We could see that the elastic buckling strength with Euler\u27s equation is higher than that with Japanese Standard\u27s method
