Design and Implementation of a Nursing-Related Legal Studies Course Based on the ADDIE Model

Abstract

This paper reports on the instructional design of a course on nursing-related laws based on the ADDIE model, detailing its processes and outcomes. Through text-mining analysis of syllabi using tools such as KH Coder, I conducted a course design that considers the systematization of educational content, its relationship with national examinations, and the characteristics of learners approximately 20 years old who often lack legal literacy. In the design and development stages, case-focused handouts and the use of a Learning Management System(LMS)were emphasized, with instruction centered on lectures while also stressing interactivity. Evaluation combined national examination-style tests and LMS assignments, confirming improvements in students’ understanding.6othe
