Satisfacción residencial y características sociodemográficas: estudio en conjuntos habitacionales segregados en Colombia y Chile

Abstract

The study analyzes the relationship between post-relocation residential satisfaction and sociodemographic characteristics in segregated social housing in Manizales, Colombia, and Concepción, Chile. Under an intersubjective paradigm, with an interdisciplinary and quantitative approach, surveys and nonparametric tests were used to compare satisfaction between sociodemographic groups within the housing typologies of each case. The findings reveal that women have lower satisfaction, family size has a negative relationship, and age, income, length of residence, and satisfaction in the previous home are positively correlated with satisfaction. These links depend on the dimension of the residential environment evaluated, the housing typology, and the context.El estudio analiza la relación entre la satisfacción residencial posrelocalización y las características sociodemográficas en viviendas sociales segregadas de Manizales, Colombia, y Concepción, Chile. Bajo un paradigma intersubjetivo, con enfoque interdisciplinario y cuantitativo, se emplearon encuestas y pruebas no paramétricas para comparar la satisfacción entre grupossociodemográficos dentro de las tipologías habitacionales de cada caso. Los hallazgos revelan que las mujeres presentan menor satisfacción, el tamaño de la familia tiene una relación negativa y la edad, ingresos, tiempo de residencia y satisfacción en la vivienda anterior están positivamente correlacionados con la satisfacción.
