This article offers an interpretative exegesis of the expression "Τίθεσθαι τὰ φαινόμενα" (Tithenai ta Phainomena) in Aristotle's works, focusing on the establishment of the concept, its potential universalization, and the challenges in translating "φαινόμενα" (phainomena). Drawing on Owen's insights, we analyze how Aristotle employs this expression to explore the relationship between appearances and the understanding of phenomena. The discussion highlights the implications of universalizing the concept and the difficulties encountered in translation, seeking alternatives that maintain the original philosophical meaning.
