EDUCAÇÃO PARA AS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS E INTERSECCIONALIDADE: : ANÁLISE CRÍTICA DA RESOLUÇÃO 2022/004/CEE/SC

Abstract

Resolution 004 of the State Board of Education of Santa Catarina, issued in February2022, establishes guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and the teaching of Afro-Brazilian, African, and Indigenous History and Culture. It aims to integrate these themes into theschool curriculum to address the historical marginalization of these cultures. However, anintersectional analysis reveals limitations in the combined approach to race and gender. While theinclusion of such content is broad, there are challenges regarding teacher training and theadequacy of teaching materials. The involvement of traditional communities and social movementsis a positive aspect, yet the absence of intersectional guidelines on racial and gender equityhinders the resolution’s effectiveness.A Resolução 004 do Conselho Estadual de Educação de Santa Catarina, de fevereirode 2022, estabelece diretrizes para a Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais e o ensino daHistória e Cultura Afro-Brasileira, Africana e Indígena.
