In recent years, the number of marijuana crimes in Japan has increased, and marijuana use by young people has become a problem. In March 2024, the university requested cooperation from the Shizuoka Prefectural Police Headquarters and conducted a drug prevention course for third-year university students. The results of a questionnaire survey of students who attended the course were analyzed using the multidimensional scaling method, identifying six clusters. These clusters included how students reacquired knowledge about drugs, were reminded of the dangers of drugs, and felt strongly that they should not use drugs, imagining their lives afterward. In the future, we will learn about the course's effectiveness by continuing its implementation. Additionally, it will be necessary to develop more effective strategies and teaching methods, such as integrating the course with other initiatives.departmental bulletin pape
