Proposal for a Faculty Support Strategy to Identify Students in Need of Early Assistance Based on Learning Activity Logs

Abstract

本研究は、学習ログデータ分析により「支援を要する学習者」を予測し、その状況に対応した個別学生サポートを行うための方略を担当教員に提案するところまでを一括りとした教員支援フレームワークを設計・開発しようとするものである。本稿ではまず予備調査として、授業出欠情報、LMSアクセス回数ならびにGPAのデータを用いて学習ログ分析モデル構築の試行を行い、その構築方法について検討した。さらに、インストラクショナル・デザイン（ID）のモデルや理論を応用したサポートを提供するために、「支援を要する学習者」の状況を説明する要因の分類について検討した。This study aims to design and develop a teacher support framework that predicts “learners in need of support” by analyzing learning activity log data and proposes strategies to teachers for providing individualized support to students in response to their situations.
