Research on Children's Thoughts on Fair Play: Facilitating Factors and Inhibiting Factors

Abstract

本研究の目的は，児童のフェアプレイ行動を促進・阻害する要因を明らかにし，要因の関係性を検討することであった。自由記述によって得られた全記述データを対象にテキストマイニングソフト・KHCoder(Ver.3. beta.01)による分析を試みた。その結果，促進要因については7個のサブグラフが得られた。また，阻害要因については，6個のサブグラフが得られた。促進要因はフェアプレイ精神とセルフコントロールに整理され，阻害要因は，セルフコントロールの喪失とセルフコントロールを乱す心理に整理された。以上のことから，フェアプレイ行動の指導においては，フェアプレイ精神とセルフコントロールを高めることが重要であろうことが示唆された。This study aimed to clarify the factors that promote and hinder fair play behavior in children and to clarify the relationships between these factors. All descriptive data obtained through free description was analyzed using text mining software KHCoder (Ver.3. beta.01). As a result, seven subgraphs were obtained for promotion factors. Six subgraphs were obtained for hindering factors. Promotion factors were classified into a fair play spirit and self-control, while hindering factors were classified into a loss of self-control and the psychology of disrupting self-control. These findings suggest that it is important to enhance fair play spirit and self-control when teaching fair play behavior.departmental bulletin pape
