A importância do estágio supervisionado em Secretariado Executivo para a formação de profissionais

Abstract

Internship is understood as the practice period that precedes certain professions, that is, the period in which students can apply in practice the theories studied in the classroom up to that point, fostering the development of skills to fully exercise their profession. Based on these theoretical assumptions, the study aims to identify and analyze the role of supervised internships in the training of students in the Executive Trilingual Secretariat course at Unioeste. As a temporal cut, the analysis focused on the period between 2019 and 2022, during which a new Pedagogical Project was implemented in the course, changing the configuration of the supervised internship. Methodologically, the study is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, being developed through observations, records, analysis, and the application of a questionnaire directed at interns who carried out activities during the defined period. The results revealed a significant improvement in the interns' skills, especially regarding communication, organizational understanding, and managerial development. Likewise, the research results showed that supervised internships are essential for the development and preparation of interns for the labor market, promoting the development of essential skills and both personal and professional growth. It was also identified that most students carry out their internships in the service sector and in the areas of management/administration and secretarial work, highlighting gaps concerning internships in the communication field, which is little sought after by students.Compreende-se por estágio o período de prática que precede certas profissões, ou seja, o período no qual o acadêmico pode executar na prática as teorias estudadas em sala até aquele momento, propiciando o desenvolvimento de habilidades para exercer sua profissão de forma plena. A partir desses pressupostos teóricos, o estudo objetiva identificar e analisar o papel do estágio supervisionado na formação dos acadêmicos do curso de Secretariado Executivo Trilíngue da Unioeste.  Como recorte temporal, optou-se por analisar o período compreendido entre os anos de 2019 a 2022, período em que foi implantado um novo Projeto Pedagógico no curso, alterando a configuração do estágio supervisionado. Metodologicamente o estudo caracteriza-se como exploratório e descritivo, sendo desenvolvido por meio de observações, registros, análise e da aplicação de um formulário de questões direcionadas aos estagiários que realizaram as atividades no período delimitado. Os resultados obtidos revelaram uma melhoria significativa nas habilidades dos estagiários, especialmente no que tange a comunicação, compreensão organizacional e desenvolvimento gerencial. Igualmente, os resultados da pesquisa mostraram que os estágios supervisionados são essenciais para o desenvolvimento e preparação dos estagiários para o mercado de trabalho, promovendo o desenvolvimento de habilidades essenciais e o crescimento tanto pessoal quanto profissional. Identificou-se também, que os acadêmicos, em sua maioria, desenvolvem seus estágios no setor de serviços e nas áreas de gestão/administração e secretarial, evidenciando lacunas em relação a estágios na área de comunicação, pouco demanda pelos acadêmicos
