On Effective Foreign Language Learning: Integrating Language Education with Language Science

Abstract

The purpose of this research note is to explore how theoretical linguistics research findings can contribute to the improvement of practical English language education in Japanese universities by introducing recent research findings on ER, CLIL and ESP and discussing their respective approaches.
