Abstract

Darlene Moore was instrumental in advancing the history and prehistory of the Mariana Islands during a career that spanned 40 years. She created the first female owned and operated archaeological consulting firm in the Pacific, mentored archaeology students on Guam, and contributed to documenting, evaluating, and interpreting archaeological sites, with an emphasis on ceramic and agricultural production.&nbsp
