Te Puna Matauranga: the well spring of knowledge marks the inaugural conference book of the Centre for Information Technology Research, capturing the diverse research activities and academic contributions of 2024. This volume features an introductory overview by the centres Director, Team Manager, Research Leader, and Industry Relationships Manager, outlining our strategic vision and collaborative initiatives. Profiles of our researchers are highlighted, alongside summaries of notable research events, including the visit of a distinguished scholar from Kozminski University and a collaborative project with Massey University. The book also presents abstracts from student internship projects, as well as masters student research, reflecting the dynamic engagement and innovation cultivated within our Centre. Internships explored key research areas, including network engineering, software engineering, game development, business analysis, IT analysis, data engineering, data analysis, quality assurance automation, and full-stack development.
