Menggali Makna Semboyan ‘Torang Samua Basudara’ dalam Konteks Logo Pendampingan dan Konseling Keluarga di Minahasa

Abstract

The motto "Torang Samua Basudara" reflects the philosophy of life of the Minahasa people which is full of meaning, emphasizing brotherhood, togetherness, and harmony in social life. These values ​​play an important role in shaping relationships between communities, especially in the context of the family. This study aims to explore and integrate the values ​​of the motto into the approach to family assistance and counseling in the Minahasa community. Using qualitative methods and a phenomenological approach, data were collected through interviews with traditional figures, cultural figures, and Minahasa families involved in family counseling and assistance practices. The results of the study indicate that this motto is very relevant in strengthening family and community harmony. The values ​​of brotherhood contained are the main basis for the approach to assistance and counseling, which focuses on togetherness, mutual support, and collective problem solving. This study also produced a logo design that represents these values, so that it can be used to support family assistance and counseling activities, in order to strengthen family and community relations in the Minahasa era
