Erschließung des biosynthetischen Potentials von Streptomyces sp. Tü 6314

Abstract

Natural products and their derivatives are important resources for the development of drugs. Within this thesis, the metabolic potential of Streptomyces sp. Tü6314 was mined for the production of new bioactive small molecules. This led to the isolation, structural, biosynthetic and biological characterization of the streptoketide natural products as well as of cycloheptamycin A and new analogs by application of synthetic biology techniques and recombinant expression.Naturstoffe und ihre Derivate sind wichtige Ressourcen für die Entwicklung von Arzneimitteln. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurde das metabolische Potential von Streptomyces sp. Tü6314 für die Herstellung neuer bioaktiver kleiner Moleküle evaluiert. Dies führte zur Isolierung, strukturellen, biosynthetischen und biologischen Charakterisierung der Streptoketid-Naturstoffe sowie von Cycloheptamycin A und neuen Analoga durch Anwendung synthetisch-biologischer Techniken und durch rekombinante Expression
