Abstract
This item recently came off long-term display at the Engineering Library in 2023. There is not much information about this item, except it belongs to the Neil Armstrong archival collection at the Engineering library. It was displayed next to item i110551011, a photograph of a ballistic particle crater view, but it is unclear whether these items are related. This is a round silver meal object that measures 1/8 inches thick and 4 5/8 inches in diameter. There is an approximately 1/8th inch hole positioned 1 1/2 inches from the closest edge, likely created from a high powered projectile impact. On the verso, there is a black marker inscription that reads, “7.5 [c or m?]m/sec / 00,82 Steel.
