This is volume two of a collection of three manuscripts from the Oesper Collection. The binding is a half leather binding with pasteboards covered with decorative paste paper. The text block is composed of several gatherings sewn through the fold on three parchment sewing tapes. The primary support is a thin dark beige laid paper. The manuscript appears to be written with iron gall ink. Further testing was performed to determine the presence of iron gall ink. The manuscript ink was tested with bathophenanthroline indicator paper for iron (II) ions, and tested positive for Fe(II) ion, indicating it is likely iron gall ink. At the front of the text block there are three loose paper inserts. The paper inserts are handwritten with graphite.View Catalog Record: http://uclid.uc.edu/record=b299257
