M. Teresa Award – Statue Award  : Preservation Lab Treatment Report

Abstract

This is a bronze statue of a female figure with a small child, with a solid marble (?) stone base. It stands approximately 17 inches tall and 8 inches wide. Because of the nature of the solid marble and the bronze statue this award is heavy. This statue is an award, awarded to Dr. Albert Sabin, who developed the oral polio vaccine. This item belongs to the Sabin Archives, one of the archival collections at the Winkler Center
